I believe u are correct in a lot of ways. Wouldn’t the definition of “energy level” vary greatly dependent on the breed of the dog?

I have been feeding my Patterdale a raw diet for 2 years since he was 8 weeks old. He stays lean like he's been in a keep for weeks. Energy levels are always high as well.

Are you concerned with the bones in the chicken it appears you are feeding them?
@BrotherJacksBulldogs12 күн бұрын
@@Jeff-k3d no, raw bones are good… cooked chicken bones are more likely to splinter and cause issues

Do you ever get worried about bacterial contamination like salmonella from raw chicken and eggs? Here in Australia it is recommended to cook meat before serving to dogs, just like for us,
@BrotherJacksBulldogs9 ай бұрын
I drink eggs every day and have never gotten salmonella poisoning. Nothing wrong with being safe. I’m not worried about it though, they have strong immune systems. I just do my best not to serve anything that is sketchy.

@BrotherJacksBulldogs okay, that's a fair point. I have a 10 week old female Amstaff. She loves her raw meat (kangaroo, beef, chicken), but doesn't like the raw egg.

Hey brotha what do you think about the LA situation where the band got molded by his own dogs?

That’s a very unfortunate situation, hard to speculate what happened and why, condolences to his family.

Great video, I have a female german shepherd with a super sentence stomach I've tried her on raw food chicken and beef constantly goes through her even some brands of kibble also what do you recommend I should do please thanks very much
@BrotherJacksBulldogs Жыл бұрын
Have you tried cooking it first and slowly introducing raw? I had a puppy whose stomach was sensitive, so the first thing I did was added an egg to the kibble and once she was able to become regular I added tiny amounts of raw to the kibble and egg mix. I eventually increased as her stomach allowed and now she is fully raw. If you can’t get her to go raw I would atleast supplement her with a clean animal protein source that would give her the nutrients that a raw diet can give, a supplement that you can add to her meals. K9supersupplements has great stuff to add to meals.

When did you start the raw diet for your dogs? Mines just turned 18mths. Is it too late..??
@BrotherJacksBulldogs Жыл бұрын
I was on and off from the time they were pups, but no, it’s never too late. You will still get results! Get on it! You may have to get tricky if your dogs a picky eater, sometimes they will prefer another meat over another.

It’s never too late. Start with chicken and introduce other meats after a month. But one at a time. I’ve been feeding raw for 8yrs.
