Having options is wise. And for that reason, people might consider HDZero goggle, which allows Walksnail VRX, analog, and HDZero in one goggle

It’s definitely a very good option. Probably the most flexible one. But it’s not the only option, and I guess it depends what you want to do in the future with your setup.

People swear by gnb27 for less battery sag. I used them back in the days on eachine whoops. I prefer to keep the happy models quads on the batteries they intended to be used and the lead reaches well. Don't complicate things. The gnb27 I found either very tight fitting or become too loose over time. It was a headache but hey your quad your preference...lol

Thanks for the feedback Smurf. I do think the battery sag is a problem with my moblite and mobula, and the bt2 connector makes a big difference.

The happy model batteries always puff up or crap out on me withing 5-6 flights. I love the gnb batteries. I like the nitro nectars best but hey, gnb is half the price haha

@@NordFPV yeah, I completely agree...the nitro batteries are better in my opinion....I was saying they're my favorite and then after that, it's gnb. Although I don't have a ton of experience with all the other batteries. Once I got the gnb and nitros, I stuck with them. Gnd is my 2nd fav so far

I think my DJI digital whoop builds are also a good way if you want to fly indoors and outdoors and want to use 3s and 4s lipos instead of 1s and 2s .

DJI is of course great. It's a shame they will never invest in a 1S VTX to have it in small drones like the ones I'm talking about.

1s 65 or 75mm tinywhoops are the best for indoor winter flying. Even in small house, especially if they're 1s.

We have some guys flying 1s whoops but they seem to loose to much power when gaining altitude so their flighttime is quite short. I get about 7 minutes flighttime with 3s 550mah with the Vista. But we Vista Flyers have to use the Polar Nano otherwise it is too dark.

i have the HDZero system. but i may probably convert to walksnail soon. due to budget constraints. i love the hdzero system but if i want to scale up, i will be limited to 720p. and i cannot own two set of expensive goggles. i'm not a racer so I can give up the low latency at the moment. also, some of the budget friendly bnf carry walksnail vtx and not HDZero. for my analog, i can just use my old cobra S.

Hey Mike, there are some tinywhoop or small drones with a bit longer fly times, but they are the exception, and most probably analog. I can think about a flywoo drone which had like 6-7 min. But again, not common.

It is pretty simple. A 2s battery has twice the power so nearly twice the flying time less the weight penalty. I get 5 minutes from 2S 550mah and 7 minutes from 2S 720mah batteries using a 62g (weight less battery) 2.5"propped whoop. Unless your flying indoors I would recommend building a 2S quad.

Curious if you tried the Flywoo with the accessory prop guards, and how durable they are? I like to fly outdoors in that way because it enables better turtle-mode performance.

I was looking at the meteor 75 pro but im concerned that the connector on the vtx for off loading the video is way to brittle and easy to break, im assuming its the same on all walksnail vtxs for tinywhoops, is it the same connector for the hdzero vtxs ?

They are not the same in terms you can’t use one cable from HDZero in a walksnail card, but in terms of how brittle they are (or slow) they are pretty similar. This shouldn’t be a point to chose one card over the other.

That hdzero mobula 7 seems a bit heavy. I have a naked vista 75mm build that weights just under 40 grams including a small buzzer.

Yeah, probably that is the reason why it drives a bit heavy on the tail.

@@NordFPV Fly the sim, the picture is perfect 1080p every time static free. I've never lost a video link yet. No LUT post color correction or image stabiluzation necessary. Crash all you want cost and stress free. If its nothing more than a hobby, then you don't need all the hassle stress and cost of using an old paradigm full of headaches. Its suppose to be fun and make you hapy. RC dos not do that at all. Its just onevbig pita costly headache. Judt say no to FPV Con Men.
