It happens when you get hit by Rest (the down special). It does a lot of damage and knockback, plus giving the flower at the cost of falling asleep for a little bit.

Basically, when you use your down b (rest), while practically in the opponent's hitbox, it does tons of knockback and gives them a flower that does damage over time to them
