How funny, i literally just performed my first full decon, polish, paint touch up, and graphine+ceramic wax coating on my Stinger on tuesday. Went the turtle wax route as i heard good things about it and im impressed with the results. Definitely gonna have to do the same thing to my 280z soon.

I feel a lot of people get intimidated to attempt this themselves. A detail shop charges so much for this process. The only tricky part is if you need to polish beforehand. That takes a little practice so you don’t burn through your paint. However applying graphene ceramic coating is very easy as long as you prep the surface correctly.

@@OVRBoosted I feel the same way. It's definitely not a quick job, but it's really satisfying to do it yourself, plus saving so much money too. Burning through paint is actually pretty hard to do but I feel most people are scared for that reason. I must say, this was my first time using graphine wax and it went on like butter and came off ridiculously easy, car is insanely slick too, drove through two puddles yesterday and no signs of any water on the car.

@@AnthonyCessor I agree, they hydrophobic properties are amazing. My car was filthy from a small snow storm I got trapped in. I was able to just spray off the grime without agitating it with a cloth. I was pretty impressed so far. Since that wash I have added the graphene boost to add more slickness and protection.

Always enjoy your highly detailed videos! Getting a new GT2, calling around for ceramic coating ... $2000+ and they are discounting price cuz it's new! Glad I saw your vid here, planning on getting kit and giving it a shot. Question, UV flashlight unnecessary and overkill? Using your 2' square approach, thinking so. Thanks again for the post, I needed it badly.

If you're buying a new car, I'd highly recommend taking on the task yourself. It's not as intimidating as one might think. If you don't have to polish any imperfections because it's a new car, I wouid recommend grabbing this kit. It's user friendly.

Appreciate the history lesson, which I knew none of... I don't mind polishing/protecting my car but don't want it to take a lot of time. My new 2023 G70 is arriving soon (I have a 2019 now) and am thinking this may be a good time to get it protected.. I may follow up with questions. Thanks for the video

Any questions you have I will definitely try to address. If you’re getting a brand new car, save your money and put a graphene coating on yourself. You will be surprised how easy it is to use.

Washing my car this weekend. Its been ceramic coated almost 1-1/2 years. I usually use. ADAMS DETAIL spray after i wash. Is there anything better that u recommended? Also what about to clean the wheels? Im starting to see some water spots in some of my vinyl wrap and some of the gloss black pieces

Brian, I’d honestly do a graphene coating. One main reason it’s better then a basic ceramic is because it repels water spotting a lot better. I’d recommend always drying the car off after you wash it to prevent spots. Especially in a hotter climate.

As for the wheels, if they are ceramic coated, a good ph soap with a soft wash mitt. You want to tray and minimize touching painted surfaces with anything abrasive. It takes work to keep a car looking good. If it was easy, every car out there would be shining.

@OVRBoosted so graphine coating on top of the ceramic coating I already have?

@@OVRBoosted currently my car is ceramic coated with Gtechniq Crystal Serum Ultra

@@brian3255 I wouldn’t recommend that, there might be an adhesion issue. I’d just keep using a ceramic top coat. I believe what you’re doing is correct. Just maybe get a good chamois to dry the car after washing. That will help eliminate spotting.
