That review rule was just implemented the season before the one of that game, so he hoped folks would get confused while it was relatively new and mis-remember the change and he ended all discussion about it and rush to the next play, thereby saving his parlay lol.

Not really. That clip was taken in the mid 2000s, around 2010 when scoring plays were not reviewable. The lions coach was Jim Schwartz. He coached then.

So because you can't gamble on WWE, then pro wrestling is real? Gambling has nothing to do with this. It can be summed up by "ppl don't pay to watch michael jordan sit on the bench" This is why penalties by star players are often ignored, why acts off aggression towards them are met with sever punishment etc. Leagues don't make money off of gambling. They make money off of their star players (merch, ticket sales, tv packages, ad revenue etc. . .) Fun story. In 08 a nba ref was giving his brother inside info on games to bet on. They made a killing. It was a huge scandal. When reviewed post career, the ref is recorded as reffing the cleanest games in the history of the nba. So the only influence he had was fairly enforcing the rules.

I always felt like Cam just approached the ball at a terrible angle, instinctively. If he had dove that close to the ball with the defender already on the ground, he easily (or just possibly) could’ve snapped his leg if he’d gotten hit.
