Not really, as long as you're not going for big jumps or hucks you're fine, i had to ride my Demo 8 with the forks wayy softer than that for a while since i didn't have a shock pump and the bike was setup for someone really light, and i'm a chonky dude, nothing went wrong the two days i had the silly setup

From my experience the Demo 8 has ALWAYS been a spectacular bike, it very much designed the first modern DH bike back in 2009 with a longer wheelbase than usual and other characteristics that the modern bikes share with it

@@darrinkulyk9560 nice! I have the 2009 one XD but it's a pretty sick example, anodized red frame with a custom finish. I'm looking forward to getting a 220 rotor of my own, i always glaze the shit outta my front one and need something wich can hold better, running some Code R brakes, most people don't like them so they're stupid cheap used, bought the pair basically new at 160. Good ol' fatbar cause you can't go wrong with one, and a custom mounted Fox Kashima DHX2 Factory Series, i blew the original DHX5.0 and decided to go with an upgrade, the forks are still the old Boxxer WC's but they'll eventually get swapped with something newer, they have a little too much flex for me and that shows that it makes no sense to spend money on maintenance, they'll spew the oil out even with fresh retainers. Maxxis DHF heavy casing front and DHR rear with a lighter casing (i know, it's weird). Soon enough i'll be running a Specialized dropper on it too, and it's rolling on a set of asimetric Bontrager Earl rims. It's not anything particularly crazy when you look closer at it, but when other people see it half the time they just stop and look like they do on cartoons XD Have fun on whistler and hopefully don't eat too much dirt!

Да, но при этом сила которую ты выкладываешь при кручении педалей в каком либо перепаде вниз, чтобы разогнаться на 30% уходит в подвеску. Забирает скорость, силы и время. Это если говорить о езде к примеру в лесу, где куча перепадов
