BEST DRAIN SNAKE ON THE MARKET? - Milwaukee M18 FUEL Drain Snake With Cable Drive
Today we #unbox the Milwaukee M18 FUEL Drain Snake with CABLE-DRIVE Locking Feed System and ask is this the best drain snake on the market today?
The M18 FUEL Drain Snake with CABLE-DRIVE Locking Feed System represents the next level in performance for handheld machines, and is the first to bring brushless motor technology to the drain cleaning industry. The POWERSTATE Brushless Motor provides more clearing power than corded competitors for tough jobs through 3” drain lines. REDLINK PLUS Intelligence ensures maximum performance under load and improves control throughout the entire process. The REDLITHIUM battery pack powers through multiple jobs on a single charge, delivering cordless mobility, safety, and power supply to the drain cleaning industry. CABLE-DRIVE Locking Feed System maintains the selected feed speed, and its twist lock design auto-adjusts to all compatible cable sizes for the best cable grip when feeding and working the clog. M18 FUEL Drain Snake has a fully enclosed drum to ensure the best protection and mess containment.
Let us know what the #verycoolgang thinks about this drain snake in the comments section below!

I remember when if you wanted a power drain snake it was the size of a VW. If you wanted compact you had to do it by hand. Now BAM ! Vince with the pop in guest appearance

Would a 25’ automatic feed snake be able to get some jobs done? Do most small jobs only need to be snaked back to the stack? I’m trying to learn and got a 25’ tool for my 1st snake….do I need a 50’ or longer also? Guys gimme some help please.

Great review. Would this be good to clean out the main sewer line that runs out to the street in my house? Or do I need something bigger?

This is more for a sink or showed line. You likely want K-750 or K-7500. A K-400 might get a TP clog out of a main line, but not anything more serous.

Forced air can wreak all kinds of havoc- blowing trap water out onto the ceiling, damaging weak components causing leaks, not properly removing the clog. If you want to pad up the bill/ piss off the homeowner it's your tool...

@@andressantiago5856 I don't know if they made a video for you on how to change the cable and unfortunately I don't show how in my review of mine either but it's super easy, you simply slide the front collar in-between drive and lock mode which is a neutral manual feed mode then you pull the cable out and then push the new one in to install it, it's very easy and can be done in just a couple of minutes. Be sure to keep your cables clean and to help keep them rust free you can spray them with a little WD-40.

@@VCGConstruction At the beginning i also noticed on the shelf that you had a Ridgid Stealth Force Gen5x Impulse Driver and a Milwaukee M18 FUEL Surge Impulse Driver. I have both of those and I love them, they are super quiet and smooth and the Stealth Force is a monster and the Surge is still powerful but on setting 1 and 2 it's great for smaller fasteners and detail work so they make a great combination. 👍GeminiOutdoors the Stealth Force has more power and twists a little more in your hands but the Surge still has plenty of power and is better for smaller fasteners and detail work, honestly if I had to choose between the two I would pick the Surge, it's lighter, still has plenty of power and on setting 1and 2 it is better for smaller fasteners which is mostly what I use so I use my Surge more than my Stealth Force. Also a tip when using the Surge don't put a 5.0amp battery on it that's overkill it will do just fine with a 2.0amp battery and that helps to keep it lighter.

Cleaning is easy, you put the drive mechanism into neutral pull the cable out and the there are 4 bolts, one on each corner of the drum cover that you remove and the the front of the drum cover comes off and then you can get to the inside of the drum to easily clean it out.
