I use the Wet & Wild. I find it has good coverage for minimal makeup days and has the best coverage for large pores and redness!

Yes! I really love the consistency of this one the best esp for the price! I think I saw that they have this in one even lighter color so I might have to hunt that down...

Sounds promising! I’ll add this one to my list.

Skin tints are not supposed to offer a lot of coverage

The Wet & Wild looked liked it applied so easily. In general, I was interested in seeing the shade selections with all of these. There is such a difference in shade undertones with regular foundations, and a lot seem to lean toward being too yellow. It looks like you had really good luck finding your shade. And the benefit to a skin tint is that even if the shade is too dark, it shears out and ends up looking ok.

Good feedback, thank you on shade selection...I don't get much PR so it's hard to show all the shades without blowing my budget but I can at least put up what they have listed online next time to help some. I would agree that it seems most foundations lean yellow and was pleasantly surprised that a lot of these skin tints do not or at least are sheer enough to correct with either powder or concealer even if they look maybe too dark etc. in the tube.

I'm interested to know, why are you on accutane? You don't have acne
@redgirlreviews10 ай бұрын
Yes, thanks to the accutane! ;-) I have several videos on my accutane use on my youtube page if you want to know details but basically my hormones have always been wild, had cystic acne in my 20's & now again in perimenopause at 48 plus now I get these ugly overactive oil glands (sebaceous hyperplasia - happens after 40) and extreme oiliness (I was the powder queen a year ago) as my hormones are going into overdrive again. Been using lowdose accutane to shut the oil production down which helps with all the above problems & gives me the skin you see now thankfully. If I go off it, so far, it comes right back though so debating how long I want to do this for since it's not fun being on but is extremely effective.

@@redgirlreviews Wow I would never have guessed you had cystic acne. Your skin has healed up so well. You look flawless! I went on accutane when I was 16 for 6 months. I had baby soft skin afterwards for years and didn't get a single pimple for 8 years. I would have kept taking it if I could have. Although some days my skin was so painful and raw. I think now they prescribe lower doses then back then. I will check out your videos to hear about your journey.

I had the same experience early on, finally did accutane around 20 yrs old and could only stand it for about 4 months because it was high dose and my face was literally falling off...sooo painful! It kept me clear for about 6 months later and then the hormonal acne came back but was less severe so I left it alone until just last year when my dermatologist said it would be an option to deal with the sebaceous hyperplasias that were slowly disfiguring my face (you can still see a divet on the end of my nose in some of the videos) so I was thrilled to hear you could do it low dose. You'd have to check with a derm to see if it was right for you if you end up having issues again but I can definitely say it has been amazingly effective with much less side effects for me at a low dose...like 10mg every 2 days seems to be fine...also has side effect of all retinoids, causes your skin to turn over faster, build collagen and look younger too.@@Blondehottie321

Hi is this discontinued? Can't find it in Sephora asia. I have the Armani Face Fabric w/c is sadly discontinued (again), my absolute favorite skin tint and I think they might be the same in terms of the texture (moussey, marshmallowy) and coverage you were talking about.

Do you mean the tart BB cream? Because it is still definitely available at both Sephora and Ulta here and the states you might have to order it directly from tart if you can’t order it from the US Ulta and Sephora sites.

Thank you so much! I hear you on everything looking yellow or orange on our skin...so frustrating! My favorite one is the Tarte BB tinted treatment primer in Fair. It doesn't offer much coverage but is great on dry and oily skin and really evens out texture because it has a soft fluffy silicone texture as well as adding some light sunscreen without all the nasty sunscreen side effects I usually get from other kinds. If you are looking for more coverage I've been really happy with the new Catrice Tinted Serum and have a full review of that here as well: kzbin.info/www/bejne/m4DFfaCbaLWhoq8

@redgirlbeautyreviews thank you so much xx dose the Catrice bb cream have a colour I have fair skin xxxx
@redgirlreviews6 ай бұрын
Yes the Catrice says it's a serum tint but I'd say it's a light to medium thin bodied foundation because it's got a lot more coverage than most skin tints. The lightest color was plenty light enough for my skin as you can see here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/m4DFfaCbaLWhoq8@@mariamartides2580
