Hi Tamara ! I love the Revlon serum tint and like you I had to get 2 colors and mix them . I also have been enjoying Neutrogena Hydro Boost hydrating tint . The L’Oréal tint unfortunately didn’t work on my skin it got very dry , maybe the denat alcohol was the culprit . I love your shorter haircut it makes you look youthful ! I did not realize that Almay was cruelty free & vegan and that Maybelline was vegan. I stay away from drugstore brands because their parent companies usually are not cruelty free except for elf , versed, and coo coo kind, to name a few at target. Thank you for the review as always.😎.

I'm trying a new skin tint for summer. I purchased Eucerin Tinted Age Defense. It has an SPF of 50 with UVA/UVB sun protection. The formula has Hyaluronic Acid and is for all skin tones. I have been using it for about a month and I really like it.

Hi Tamara as someone who still struggles with very dry skin in warmer weather (eczema and rosacea) I’m not going anywhere near something with alcohol denat high on an INCI list😂. The other issue is shades. I really struggle getting a shade match (even in shade ranges with thirty plus shades of foundation), so many skin “tints” are a no no with a poor shade selection. If I am going to apply something then it has to have a light coverage or more (sheer isn’t enough to even lessen the redness/rosacea). After many samples (Scotland is where I live) I did finally find one I really like - the Ilia skin tint. The shade is too yellow but I can correct it fairly easily and it’s light coverage. I bought it due to the formula which is so beautiful all day on my very dry skin and genuinely looks dewy/glowy (very difficult to find for very dry skin as everything’s more matte on me). I use it as a makeup product with all my skincare and my generous application of spf underneath btw (despite the manufacturer claims of it being an spf product) as I would have to apply a load of it and the shade issue would be more problematic. I also think it looks better applied more lightly. I’m able to use this with the kind of lighter makeup I enjoy in the Summer eg glowy blush, one shade of cream shadow on the lid and a tinted balm/gloss on the lips. A light dusting of powder in the t zone keeps it looking good all day on me. Despite not being roasting hot here the humidity is high at over eighty percent every day in Summer and it can be very sweaty 🥵. Best wishes x

I love the L'Oreal and the Maybelline and would love to try the Wet n Wild, but I don't think it's made its way to the UK yet. Great intel and you are looking gorgeous - navy really suits you! The calcium aluminum in the Revlon is a no go for me, but the Wet N wild looks promising! My 55 year old skin looks decades younger because I literally have almost never went outside without spf, a large hat and sunglasses lol Plus diet is key!! (I have been vegan for years) I Love the Korean tinted bb creams on Iherb, sooo affordable and amazing ingredients!

As a mature woman with oily/combo skin, the Maybelline 24 Hr is just about pefect for me. I also love the W&W Tinted Hydrator, whereas the Niacinimide serum tint was a complete disaster. I'm interested to try the Loreal and see how it compares to the Maybelline on my skin type.

I have 55 yo combo oily skin and have been searching for a better pigmented skin tint (or thinner serum formula foundation with med coverage ) with satin finish and good tan shade selection . I dont want to feel like im wearing foundation, but i do need med coverage for my hyperpigmentation. I avoid glow /radiant finish and alcohol ingredients for daily wear.

I love that L’Oréal skin tint BUT to your point, the denatured alcohol is STRONG and it irritates my skin, but that is such a beautiful product otherwise.

I’m 54 with very dry skin and haven’t had any problems with the Loreal. I held off on trying because of the alcohol, but I use a hydrating primer underneath and I LOVE it!

Hi Tamara, love and watch your channel regularly. If possible please don’t go by manufacturer’s description of the product. Per Cruelty free kitty: No, Almay is not cruelty free. They may test on animals, either themselves, through their suppliers, or through a third party. Brands who fall under this category could also be selling products where animal testing is required by law.

What skin tint are you using for everyday?

Of this grouping, my most used is the Revlon Illuminance. And I still love the original Wet N Wild tinted hydrator. Both have light to medium coverage with a slightly radiant but not overly glowy finish. And fairly long lasting for tints. But I hate to say my most used Tint this summer has been the pretty pricey Lisa Eldridge seamless skin enhancing tint. It is light coverage, but looks so natural, never creases and is super long wearing in the heat. Because the coverage is on the light side, sometimes I need to spot conceal around my nose and on dark spots. Hi Helaine! Of this group, I have been reaching for the Revlon Illuminance the most. It was what I was wearing in the video (though I think I forgot to mention that). But I have to admit my all time fav most used tints are the super pricy Hourglass Veil for a hydrating glow and Lisa Eldridge for a super long lasting satin finish in the summer. The pink lipsitick was Milani Color Fetish Matte Lipstick in the shade Petal topped bith City Lips Sun Diego lipgloss. And the red is Merit Matte in Vermilion. I think I popped a litte Sun Diego on that as well. I'll add to the description box.

I love the bright pops of color on you! I’ve been using the tretinoin and it’s giving me dry patches. Trying to find a tint that doesn’t emphasize them. Thank you.

@@helaineshpritz4984 Thank you! I wish I could wear nudes...but somehow my face needs color on my lips. And the Merit Red has quickly become a summer fav. Are you exfoliating occasionally? Even a mild AHA a couple of times a week can help with dry patches. of all my tints the Hourglass is the one that really smooths my skin and doesn't accentuate dry patches. But it might be a little too glowy for hot weather. As far as foundation...off the top of my head I would say Estee Lauder Futurist, it really smooths over dry patches.

I really like drugstore makeup, all of my makeup is drugstore, but drugstore skincare is a disaster for me. I wish I could use it but my skin hates it and I have tried all the big recommended brands.

Thank you for sharing. It is quite sheer...and disapears quickly. If I had ranked these, this would have been the lowest. But it is quite moisturizing.

@@TamarasTimelessBeauty Yes I use it as a moisturizer but it was a waste of money imo.
