Good to know! Thank you for sharing your experience. I live in Phoenix, Arizona, so I have a hard time planning what to wear when I travel during the summer to places with high humidity. I might be going to New Orleans in August, so I definitely need a high heat, high humidity foundation. At the age of 62, I still have some hot flashes, as well, so that doesn't help. It's not as bad as being pregnant, because the hot flashes come and go, but it can still be very unpleasant.

The freaking hot flashes are just no joke an I've got hormonal acne on my jawline/under my chin worse than my teens. So, I've been looking into makeup that's good for sweat resistance, high humidity and mature skin(even tho I'm not having that particular issue just yet). Any recommendations for hot flashes? I don't have a mother to ask unfortunately.

Almay is a good brand. You won’t get mile high lashes or holographic cheeks but the brand is a steady brand. And besides, who really wants holographic cheeks anyway?! 😊

I freaking love that Maybelline Skin Tint! I went from being a full coverage matte foundation girl (revlon colorstay and estee lauder double wear), to the skin tint and my make up and skin looks soooo much better having a lighter coverage. I jsut wish more brands had more neutral/yellow tones. However as much as I love Ulta, buying drugstore items there is a no go for me, the prices are $3-5 more than at other stores.

@@c8creates I definitely think you can get full coverage out of it, but I don’t even use a full dropper for my whole face and it looks great, my skin but better. And the slight glow helps it too! Maybe try to mix some with your SPF and see if you can get it lighter

Ulta offers coupons and has great sales, plus you earn bonus rewards. I buy from them because you can try the makeup and return it if you don't like it. Makeup is too expensive to be stuck with something that doesn't work.

Good color match, good coverage, but today I went back to my #2. Just feel on my skin was so much more comfortable. I used to watch you some years back, but life got on the way. So much to do.

I just had this green on my nails, best spring/summer color! 💚😍 I’m not usually a maybelline girl, but this skin tint is my go to. It’s so light weight, great coverage, doesn’t look heavy, & great for humid Florida weather! Even covers up my acne scars really well. Don’t even need to set the makeup.

Good ranking video, Jessica! I totally agree with your #1 pick, The Loreal Age Perfect foundation is my fav of the drugstore and I am 73 with dry skin. Jen Phelps recommended Wet n Wild Photofocus stick foundation for a solid, easy for travel. It applies easily and blends easily and gives good coverage. You and I have similar skin tones and I use Soft Beige but could probably go one step darker. You might want to check that out. I would be interested in your opinion of it compared to the Age Perfect.

I love videos like this! Makeup has gotten so expensive, even at the drugstore, so it helps to know what’s good and what isn’t. (Especially since it sounds like we have the same skin type or close.) Your lips always look so nice! This is an area of makeup I feel like I’ve never gotten down. Because of this I usually stick to a quick gloss or even just a lipliner and balm situation. I’d love to see you do a lip version of this. You could even parlay it into a series based on types (actual lipstick vs something more sheer for those of us into something that feels a bit lighter).

I just tried the reformulated CoverGirl Clean foundation and it was soooo good! It's an exact color match for me, and disappears on my skin in the best way. It really does just look like my skin, but much more even and gives some decent coverage.

I love this style of video - comprehensive break down and comparison of a few popular offerings in one product category. I have combination oily skin with textured patches and some signs of aging (35 years old), and my top two foundations are the Physicians Formula Butter Believe It foundation and the Essence Pretty Natural foundation. PF is amazing buildable medium-full coverage, and the Essence is my go to for light-medium coverage. My biggest priorities are that my foundation looks skin-like and is transfer/crease/humidity resistant. I loved the No 7 Stay Perfect foundation once upon a time, but I am a pale princess year round and Calico (lightest shade) was too dark on me even in the summer. Taylor Wynn has great videos on the PF and Essence foundations, and I know Jessie loves her channel too. ❤

Thank you so much for this video. I am surprised about the L’Oreal True Match. I have dry sensitive 54 year old skin and I love how it looks on my skin. Getting the correct shade is so important. I realize if I get even a shade too light it doesn’t look as good. The Maybelline skin tint is also amazing on me. I change out the dropper with a pump from Amazon. Also love the Age Perfect for days when I don’t need as long wear .

I have been using the L’Oréal Age Perfect for over a year. It is the perfect skin color match for my skin and I have love this on. I have tried very expensive make lines and this is my favorite so far.

The loreal age perfect is what I wore to give birth (unmedicated, water birth!) 3 weeks ago. It doesn't last forever but fades very gracefully in my opinion, which was my main criterion in a foundation for labor. Highly recommend that foundation :)

Would love more videos like this!! Maybelline skin tint is my go to foundation and I keep going back to it despite trying many high end ones. Just like you said it has amazing staying power. I live near Disney and have oily skin. I go to the parks a lot and this lasts through a long day at the park. Even wore it for an early flight out from Florida to Vegas and had my makeup on for over 24 hours. My skin still looked amazing! Now though I feel I need to try the L’Oréal one that is your favorite to compare!

Honestly drugstore foundations are my favorite. I have tried to venture into Sephora options but I always come back to these because they honestly feel more skinlike. I also have the Super Stay and Age Perfect as my top two, but I'm shocked you don't like the true match! I've been using it since high school, but I haven't tried the new bottle so it's possibly a new formula - mine is still in a pumpless bottle. I don't often comment on videos but I feel passionate about these reviews, no need to spend $50 on foundation!

I found the superstay skin tint months ago, I'm a big fan of the superstay lip line so when I saw they were coming out with a foundation under that name I had to try it. I love it. So much. It's pretty much replaced all my other foundations. I think at first I just liked it but found it on par with what I had, then I tried it with a brush (it's the only foundation I've found looks better with a brush lol) and that was a game changer. The first shade I got was too light for me and the second was too dark haha, so I do have to mix the shades but I've realized I actually like that versatility and the dropper design makes it really easy. I've played around mixing it with other products and it does really well, plus it makes whatever you mix it with stay on better throughout the day! I'm always amazed when I come home from work and my skin looks just as good, sometimes even better than when I first applied it and the knowledge that I don't have to be as careful about anything touching my face all day and smudging is so freeing lol. I can full on pat my whole face if I wanted to and not have any transfer, it's amazing.
