It's great to hear that I actually made the right decision in purchasing this board. Although is my first eboard and nothing to compare to, I only can say is highly reliable, drives great without voltage sag and its awesome that has the same power going both backwards and forwards (so one can have the choice of having either rear or front wheel drive) been using it now for three weeks and I highly recommend it too.

Well. I’d say go buy one now. This is just my first impression. I got it today. I am very impressed. I have ridden 5 electric skateboards. The Acton blink - it was a toy. The Metroboard slim stealth edition - it was a tank. I have the Metroboard micro slim - speed is underwhelming. I have the evolve bamboo GT with the LHB battery mod- it is absolutely magical!!! I weigh 220 and the evolve flies up hills At 20mph. Top speed for me is 24 mph. And the way it turns is incredible. But today I really had fun with the Wowgo 2s. I got the Sanyo battery. I think the top speed I got to was 22mph. I went 12 miles on my last ride. Still had 37.5% battery. It feels really fast on flat. Going up hill was a bit slower. But still made it. The hub wheels are a bit harder ride than the evolve. But the freewheeling has less drag. The remote is really good. I will add comments later as I get more rides in. But so far so good. ONE WEEK UPDATE. Still very impressed. I have ridden the board every day this week. I have put a little over 50 miles on it. Performance is very good. No issues so far. I really like the remote. I really like how it seems to have no drag going downhill. Getting top speed at 22 mph. This evening I rode 13 miles.

Nice review. I'm 51 and don't have any skating experience. I'm torn between getting the Stealth or the Wowgo2s. I just want a reliable smooth ride for leisure riding between 16-20 MPH---- mostly on bike trials along the beach. Can you comment on how smooth the rides are on a Wowgo 2S? (I've heard hub motors can be rough.) And why are hub motors easier to maintain. I am not mechanically inclined in any way. I don't even like looking at tools. Are the hub motors easy to replace?

I'll be honest, I didn't think an outdoor shoot would be anything special and I've had no interest in boards like this in the past. Boy was I wrong on both accounts. Really sweet video and you opened my eyes to how nice those boards are and how convenient they could be! Too bad I live in the country lol

Gotta know, if you this notification. Is the board still running. Are there any draw backs from time itself? Or does it still runs just as out of the box. Excluding normal wear and tear.

So few things on this. It still picks up well. Not as punchy of a take off as it used to have but it’s still good. The top speed is still there though. As for the distance I am getting around 8-9 miles on full battery instead of the 10-11. But that’s normal. You need to replace the batteries every so often on these things anyway. Every year or so. Also not leaving it charging overnight is a big help to not max out the battery cells will prolong the battery life. Unplug it when you see it’s done charging. I still recommend this. I got the Wowgo 3 in and will be doing a review on that soon. If you want to wait I will have a discount code available when that video goes up.

I have the Meepo 1.0. I would need to have the Meepo 1.5 to make a proper comparison between the two. I like my Meepo Board. But I am riding the WowGo 2s board almost exclusively currently. The WowGo 2s is pushable as well when the board is off.

You’re good man. You will have better range than I did as I am around 260lbs, about 118kg. This board can carry a big boy like me around no problem, you will be fine.

Yeah have a buddy that has one. He loves it. Rides great but I preferred the ride of the Wowgo 2s. More traditional longboard feel which I prefer. My friend preferred the more set in design. He felt more stable. But I like the Wowgo 2s remote better. The board feeling is subjective. But we both preferred the wowgo2s remote. Plus for the same price you can get the sanyo board. Just saying :)

I want to buy WOWGO 2S with Sanyo battery but I can't find any review of this one anywhere :O I assume that this will meet my expectations cause they are saying that it can make 30-35km and I expect 25km at least for my weight. Yo i have a wowgo 2s and from day one it only charges up to 3 lights, sometimes 3 and a half which the half goes away right away when i give it throttle so 3 out of 4 lights the board charges up to, is it the same way for everyone else or do i have a defect of some sort

All comes down to preference. If you are looking to ride in tight quarters and need to turn tightly, kicktails are nice. But if you prefer the traditional longboard feel of cruising then the M or C decks are great

what battery option do you have that got 11 miles? is that the Sanyo or the base battery for the 2s?

I have the base battery. Did another test on it after and got 9 miles on mixed riding but I had the throttle going fast at times and going slow and stopping sometimes. When I tested it for the video I didn’t stop and had the throttle up full blast almost the entire time so I feel that not stopping and continuing at a constant rate allowed for the 11.2 mile range. Realistic range for most will be around 9 or so. But still pretty great.

As far as I know there isn’t an importation tax. Could be different depending on which country it is coming into I would imagine.

*The only problem with the new remote is you cannot select the speed selector whilst in motion u must stop to change. On the old remote u could change the speed selector whilst in motion. Also the bigger battery isnt cheap nearly $300USD Which is a rip off*

WOWGO customer service is terrible, they lie about shipping time, expect 3 weeks to a month. Then expect an email saying something is wrong with your address, a bunch of idiots, liars. If your lucky you'll get answered via email, the not so lucky ones are left hoping for an email or some sort of miracle voice telling them when they will receive their board.
