Yeah that’s pretty tough. In the mid-90’s I was working as a carpenter on an old building that is part of the Port Hudson National Cemetery. We were pulling up floor boards and I found an 1875 Seated dime in AU condition. That was probably someone’s daily pay back then. Btw the Port Hudson National Cemetery was commissioned (not sure if that’s the right word) by Abraham Lincoln at the end of the Civil War and is the place where my three times great grandfather surrendered in 1863 a few days after Vicksburg fell- my mom has copies of the letters he wrote home during the war. I believe he was 19 at the time.

Hey Rob, eBay guarantees customer satisfaction. I would return that ASAP for a refund. I recently purchased 4500 wheat cents online and when it arrived I could tell the box was light. The shipping label showed the weight and it was several hundred (almost 1000) coins short. I didn't even open it. I requested a refund and it's on the way back to Cheyenne Wyoming, Thanks for sharing the package opening.

Most grab bags on Ebay are awful. Grab bags from Ebay haven't been good in 15-20 years. Usually a grab bag is good if it is someone liquidating their collection. Its better to get grab bags from a coin dealer or direct online from one at their online store.

Haha. Nice April fools vid. When I started collecting, I bought a cheap grab bag on ebay to just get some variety of coins. These are never worth the price you pay, and I went in knowing that. Better off visiting your local coin shop and giving them some money, supporting a local small business, and getting a fair deal.
