Question: why is everyone hunting for silver coins/bullion for the silver content, but never loading up on all the silver jugs and platters and dishes at antique stores? Theres GOBS of it, and Id assume way more silver by weight.

buy in bulk sell in retail. Never ever sell a whole collection, probably not many ppl that sell whole put themselves the collection together. On the other hand, I watched a lot of videos starring dealers/brokers. While occasionally they exibit some signs of honesty, the bulk of their wealth is made of the other stuff, when they pay in bulk then they go look for keydates, for errors. Silver they pay melt price MINUS some spread they chose, then they sell individual items as collectible numismatic pieces. HUGE difference. Some dealer was naming apps the end of the trade. I say at this rate of vulturing and plundering collection for decades, ppl will just stop collecting as one incentive was the gain in value. Unless silver or gold go double what u paid, u are losing money on everything you collected. So my advice is go elon and trump and con everybody else, not collecting unless u know it is for you own pleasure, like spending on a good dish at a fancy restaurant, the next day will be the same minus the money spent.

The pawn shop owner was loaded with silver coins that he recently purchased prior to my arrival. I needed cash to pay off a bill. He paid me $520 for all, but I got those all for face value from a bank 2 weeks prior 😂. I'm trying to stack silver but its hard with expenses along the way.
