BEST Echos to use right now to 10X your damage

Based take TenTen, most CCs are too focused on the highest dmg potential rather than practicality. One of my favorite echoes is the purple Heron, really helps with first playthrough of bosses where you're still trying to figure out the timing for dodges.

List of good Echoes mentioned: Supports: Bell-Borne: +10% team dmg boost & --50% incoming dmg reduction for 3 hits. 15 sec duration. Impermanence Heron: +10 Resonance energy. If used Outro skill: next character +12% dmg boost. 15 sec duration. Damage: Dreamless: AoE Havoc dmg. does +50% more dmg if used Liberation. Mech Abomination: AoE Electro dmg. quadratic scaling. Current character +12% atk boost. 15 sec duration. Utility: Flautist: generates concerto energy. can be swap canceled. Rocksteady Guardian or anyone with Countermeasure skill: When enemy uses special attack (red flashing light), knock the enemy to the ground. Zig Zag: Creates a field that slows the enemy. 1.8 sec duration.

I want to add that Dreamless only deals more damage if Havoc Rover uses Liberation before, not just anyone's Liberation.

One additional difference between summon and transform echoes is that Transform echoes seem to all have (at least) 50% damage reduction during the transformation. Which means you can tank 3 hits taking 0 damage if you have the bell turtle buff active at the same time.

thundering memphis has electro dmg buff plus resonance liberation damage, while the tempest memphis gives electro dmg buff with heavy attack damage buff

7:54 wait what? crownless does a red flashing light attack? is my game bugged or something? every time a boss monster jumps or flies into the sky, somehow my character locks me into looking into the ground or the opposite side, I can't never parry or dodge when they go up high. Is this a forced faulty setting for PC players?

What even is a true damage boost? The game only has regular damage bonusses which is additive, and some multiplicative damage bonusses which indicated as "damage deepen". Echos don't give deepen.

One echo I'm rather disappointed by is Mourning Aux. Every boss echo does its signature move, Aux's could've been his easily swap cancellable (presumably) laser or grab... instead he just rolls on the ground, that's it.

One trick I have seen people do for Electro is go 3-4-3-1-1 instead of 4-3-3 with Flautist as Main Echo since it is way easier than the Memphis.

That relied on old tech where the flautist kept beaming after swapping out but it's no longer working like that. The flautist isn't really used anymore, but maybe we will see it back with yinlin because of the 100 concerto energy it gives on a full cast

@@westarrr it still works. The rotation is just different; get full concerto energy to proc intro/outro, activate flautist - hold for a bit - swap - intro/outro procs and flautist is still up. That's for the damage aspect; Flautist echo ability also gives MORE ER than Memphis and can trigger additional Outro skills (which will matter extremely to Yinlin)

@@shadownocas Way easier to use in boss fights, as overworld content doesn't matter since you faceroll those regardless. Memphis locks you into massive animations as you are required to press the Echo Q ability multiple times to get the damage, this is the same issue as Crownless and why it is preferable to use Dreamless. For Flautist, you can build more Energy (which lessens the burden of ER mainstat), and generate more Concerto for a teammate like Yinlin. To proc flautist all you need is full concerto bar: Have full circle concerto bar - summon flautist - hold for a bit - swap to trigger outro - flautist stays up while character does animation. Don't swap out right away

I don't even think its optimal to play that way, you lose all the buffs u gain from outro and impermanence + moonlit when u swap out of the character that gained the buff. That's a huge dmg loss for such a minimal dmg gain with quickswap
