I guess this is the most helpful video I have seen regarding email marketing tools. I was told to go with active campaign bu5 my feeling was that as starting out there is way to much stuff that I don’t yet need, so I was looking for an alternative. I love that you are able to give such a good overview! Thanks!

Marcus, I have been liking your videos but never commented before. I want to say how much I appreciate your unbiased, honest, yet (super) helpful videos. Unlike 95% of review videos and sites, yours actually help the reader/viewer to make that final choice based on your final best pick. I really like that. I am going to check out Sendinblue using your link. My many thanks, again 👍🏽!!

Thank you so much for this video Marcus. I just started my ecommerce in shopify, I sell handmade jewelry and couldn't decide which email marketing platform to use to send newsletters etc. I kept hearing about convertkit and how the emails actually get delivered to your inbox versus promotion or spam, but from your video I can see its not the best for ecommerce. I will try mailerlite and thanks so much for this video.

Awesome video! I must add that MailEngine is an exceptional email marketing tool that deserves recognition on this list. It boasts an impressive spam filter and content spinner that guarantees the uniqueness and deliverability of every email I send. In fact, the proper delivery of emails is a vital aspect of a successful email marketing campaign, and MailEngine excels in this regard.

I have use getresponse my fav but they charge the same subscriber each time its in different list. LOVE mailerlite but they are not native for leadpages. I would need zapier to connect them. Trying out Active campaign but dont like the test email delivery. SO i am mostly going to use email marketing to engage with subscibers like once a week or every other day etc. I am going to always grow my email list and send out emails to each of them as stated before. Will be selling to them sometimes with a digital product.

Thank you Marcus. Very helpful! Starting email marketing for a small Science firm so I think I'll give mailerlite a try. We have ZOHO For our CRM, but I'd love to leave them. Way too complicated, expensive and too much for this small business. It would be great to have all in one platform that doesn't require ridiculous learning curves to get each to communicate with each other. i.e. I set up a template in mail for ZOHO and when I went to leads, it had no communication with my templates in ZOHO email. very frustrating for someone ready to grow my client's business!

This is EXACTLY the video I was looking for !!! I know Sendinblue and Active Campaign. I use them both for different reasons, Sendinblue in the free version and Active Campaign for... well the tagging and segmenting possibilities but with few subscribers so far. I'm in the process of increasing my subscription base... I'm not in e-commerce but more in community management on a specific subject and I don't email every 5 minutes. What I need most (I I live in in Active Campaign) is the flexibility of list management (segmentation, tagging). What will be the easiest for list management (templates and all, that's not really my problem) between Sendinblue and Mailerlite ? I'l love to know what you would choose ! Thank you !
@SophieMarnez3 жыл бұрын
Actually, I visited MailerLite a little more in depth and I chose that one. More intuitive than Sendinblue for the segmentation and workflow... and the pricing is just incredible !!! Your video really helped me A LOT ! Thanks again !

Thanks Markus, I really appreciate the way you comment objectively the tools and with confidence. I have a small KZbin channel (under 2000 subs) I am currently preparing my first nurture sequence of videos which will be send within a week time (one video per day). I am going to use this strategy periodically (upon request from my audience) but I still do not have revenue to start with a paid tool. Which software could you recommend me to start with for free (allowing automation) prior to switch to paid plans? Does Sendinblue offers automation for free? Thanks a lot

Thank you very much, Marcus: Liked and Subscribed. I have no email list now, but I have experience managing a list of 2,000 members using Google Groups -- it is a not-for-profit list that helps the community. I want to start a list to promote my company and my books. I might want have two (or more) different lists, for example: one list about poetry, one list about health, etc. I think I would send one message to each list every two weeks -- that would be 4 emails every month. The emails would contain lots of useful information about the subject -- not advertising or self-promotion -- and then mention my books at the bottom of the email. Which of these should I try: Mailerlite, Sendinblue, or Convertkit ? Marcus, Thanks again.

Hi!!! I just found your video. I usually do my newsletters with mad Mimi . I only have 1.5 k emails of passed clients and looking for a better option. I am a photographer and I do campaigns for example photos for Easter. I now also have Canva and they have nice newsletter templates. I am a small business looking for something better. Do you also know if I can add video to a newsletter? Loved your video! Thanks!!!

Hello great video. Do you have any suggestions for professional service websites based on leads rather than products? Currently receive 100-200 leads monthly but will grow and add to cumulative list, which is currently 200 clients. Hoping to reach 1,000 clients by years end with some increases in monthly leads, as needed. Thank you

Apparently, mailer literally doesn't want affiliated business to get clean and not becoming spam reputation. On the contrary, convertkit has a political of allowing affiliated business. Do you confirm?

I had the same problem honestly, today I tried signing up with mailerlite and they just wouldn't confirm my account because of "content reasons". I got so annoyed but now I know not to use it haha. This really fustrated me because this is the first time ever I take the time to comment on a youtube channel haha.

Thanks, Marcus. I'm starting a real estate photography business in Dallas, Texas. I'll be doing mostly B2B. I'm seriously thinking about using ActiveCampaign. I tried Send In Blue for about a month but was not a fan. I do not anticipate having more than 500 folks on my email list, at least in the first year. What email platform would you recommend?
