I own 3 Omegas so I'm not shit talking the brand. 50% for used is plausible and would be a really good deal, probably without papers though and a less desirable combo (like black dial on a strap instead of blue dial on a bracelet). I nearly bought a two tone on bracelet that was 40% discount last week. You can easily buy brand new for a 30% discount depending on the time of the year. I think my Aqua Terra is only worth about $3200 and MSRP is a bit over $6000.

I purchased a Omega Seamaster 300m in 1995 it was the Quartz version I paid £895.00.. I thought was seriously expensive at the time but now omegas are much more pricy, I would still choose Quartz movement or automatic, master co-axial ect. And certainly choose Omega again. (even if they don't know the model of the watch and just say they want a "rolex with that rotating bezel") And when I purchased my Omega, this was 2011-2012 when even a HULK SUBMARINER was a discounted watch that nobody wanted. Not 15% or anything close but not only where you able to see one in a display, but get a discount on a Rolex Hulk!!... just think about that. And yes, also very lucky and fortunate to have also gotten the Sub around that time before the explosion in price and demand 🙏🙏 not brand new though like the Omega was.

We are more advanced, aware here in Europe with Covid awarness, tell Seth thos plastic face shields are all but useless, they are now banned here in Austria and in fact as of today the only approved facemask is now the FFP2 in real protection. Funny thing is I actuall prefer them as well as they allow more breathing space over the fabric.

They're not useless. Since Seth is projecting somewhat, the shield, which clearly undercuts his chin, will be reducing the spray from his mouth, albeit not as much as a mask. Combine that with the strong likelihood that they've tested, the watches would have been wiped down, and they're keeping a distance from each other, then they're not taking unreasonable risks. In comparison, Michael appears to be wearing a dust mask which is probably not medical grade. In saying that, medical grade masks would be better.

2:19 instantly I know this guy is the real deal watch enthusiast and not just some snob luxury watch salesman. Incredible selection with great insight. I have this exact same watch and the fit and finish is incredible. The only give away that it's an affordable watch is the lume, really, REALLY awful lume. 13:05 Respectfully disagree. The Omega 300M with the caliber 8800 will never sell for half on the used market, unless it's very worn out. Of course there's going to be an outlier once every now and then (desperate seller in need of cash for example), a very good condition 8800 300M typically goes for 20~30% below MSRP.

I think Tag Heuer Monaco is a great choice under 5k. It has a unique case design and has also history attatched to it as it was worn by Steve McQueen in Lemans.

IMO the best watches under 5K are Tudor Black Bay 58 or GMT and the Omega Sea master 300M. Bought myself a mint Tudor Black Bay GMT with steel bracelet for $3,800 and its quality for that price is just mine blowing. Will definitely keep that watch for the rest of my life even I have Rolex or the more prestiges watches.

The Tudor Black Bay GMT is a keeper that will not depreciate over time and historically will appreciate. The Seamaster is and always be a value proposition. Well picked Seth. Micheal, how about a Ferrari tour of the Bird Streets as only you can do... of course with Adam's brilliant camera work ( drone included). And not to be too greedy, a Malibu tour Would be awesome. I got an automatic Aikon 41mm with black dial and roségold markers/hands in my collection and both people who aren´t interested in watches as well as other watchgeeks gives it alot of attention. Superb quality for the prices. The quickchange-function for the strap is a very nice touch, I switch between the link and the rubberstrap quite often.

Regarding warranty… I bought a new Rolex gmt a few years back. In a week, it would lose 3-4 minutes. I sent it in for service. It went to Switzerland. They replaced the entire mechanism. Thank goodness it was new/warranty. Since replacement, it doesn’t lose any.

Okay I really hope you guys appreciate this. Seth actually used to react to Michael saying deployment clasp(it’s deployant) and always make a face holding back a correction. You can actually see Seth say deployment at 18:00. Im so proud of what a smart salesman he is. He even says it’s got a nice deployment which might still work semantically.
