BEST EXHAUST FOR A GLI?!?! NEUSPEED Cat-Back Exhaust System on a 2019 Volkswagen GLI!

IMO MBRP is not even close. Had the Neuspeed installed today. In a word, perfect. For me. Very high quality. Installer I always use said he had zero issues. Many people might well consider this one too quiet and I get that. I've had the AWE resonated version before on my 19 GLI and that one was just barely tolerable with the addition of a mid-pipe Vibrant resonator. That one still had some drone. Not horrible but definitely there. The Neuspeed has 0.0 drone. Love it. Like all other cat backs it purrs nicely when first started and settles down when idle reduces. When you get on the throttle it sounds very nice. Just a hint of DSG fart but very mild. At speed it's quieter than the Soundaktor in sport mode. I've turned the artificial sound to 0 but may well dial in just a bit. LOL. Is it worth $1200 to get to this? For me it was but again I understand others would want more growl. For me, 67 yet not grown up, it is just right. And hundreds less than the AWE Touring option.

I’d have to disagree with ya, I felt like the NEUSPEED gives a more raspy tone where the MBRP gives a high pitch tone close to a Honda. Not saying it’s bad but it’s all preference

@@madvspixel the Honda term probably wasn’t the best choice of words, it doesn’t sound like a Honda but i just think it’s the pitch! Especially if you have DSG I hate the fart noise haha

Sounds good! Im looking to do downpipe before exhaust. Currently, i had a muffler shop remove the back resonators and keep the front resonator. It sounds good on stock, but I would change it later for deeper sound note. This Neuspeed exhaust looks promising!

Bought the Neuspeed catback after watching your video, thanks for helping me decide! My GLI is unintentionally gonna be very similar to yours after my next upgrade (neuspeed charge pipes). Are you considering a tune or Neuspeed power module?

Great vid! @Mr.Boosted That Neuspeed exhaust system sounds AMAZING! How did you get rid of the Soundaktor fake exhaust sound that the GLI has feeding into it's cabin? I didn't hear it in this vid, so was that dash settings and you turned it down or did the new upgraded exhaust eliminate it once and for all? It's my only complaint about my GLI, as they didn't do that sound thing with the GTI's. Just trying to see how others dealt with that sound fed into the cabin. I turned it down for now with the dash settings, but now I have to use custom button instead of sport mode. If I use sport mode, that fake sound in the cabin returns. Its the worst bro. Thanks and keep the awesone vids coming!

Thanks man!! Unfortunately I still have the fake sound :( I just use custom and turn the sound on eco. You can turn it off with OBDELEVEN which I have but I’m still learning, as soon as I figure it out I will have a video up on how to remove it!

​@@mr.boosted9983 that's because people aren't making sure there mounts are in good shape or the hangers are in the mount holes all the way. I'm on a hand me down catless by cts, my buddy had it installed for a few years and I'm on year 2.
