You know, the Kia K5 is a nice car, but when you look at the fit and finish of the 2014 Optima, I think that this was Kia's best model. This car is going age extremely well.

Your car is Awesome, I just bought my first Kia last week , its a 2016 optima SX 2.0 , im a little disappointed that noone makes the body mods / carbon fiber hoods, body kits etc for them yet. @@DARKRISE Simple Bolt ons honestly. Short ram cold air intake, bov, dual catch can, tune. Still need aftermarket intercooler , Wagner kit and an exhaust 👍🏻 Honestly all driver mod tbh to keep up ! Knew I had to keep at about 3,000rpm in 3rd to even be able to keep a decent gap .. knew I was going to lose but had to see how badly 😂!!

Ok, I know quite a bit about cars, and how to increase horsepower from an internal combustion engine, but I've only done NA stuff. My buddy just got a Sonata 2015 2.0 turbo. He's wanting to make some power, I told him 3 inch downpipe, maybe colder plugs, and a tune on a dyno, I was surprised by the size and location of the intercooler, so I said unless he went bigger turbo he should be fine. We're having trouble finding a downpipe so if anyone knows what parts compatibility is that'd be a great help. Also does anyone know how much is safe for the stock auto tranny? Do they have an LSD? and final question, what's the most the stock turbo can push?
