Do you have any thoughts on what made the Cobra Aerojet launch so low 8.4 deg in comparison to the average of 10 deg and others overall? Was there something regarding the spec or shaft of the test club perhaps?

We don't have a definitive answer, sorry. All the clubs were tested with stock shafts and stock settings. Interestingly all three AeroJet models all recorded low launch angles, even the easy launch Max.

My playing mate has recently bought the Stealth HD 3 wood and loves it as he's finally found one that he can play off the turf and being High Draw it gives him the confidence to hit the shot as like most of us we tend to hit a fade/slice which is no good at our club as there's lots of holes where there's trouble on the right often coupled with a downhill lie 😢

Love the 2023 series, something for every player, I don't have the fastest swing speed but the smaller profile Srixon rang a bell , gonna give it look, I game the Sim 2 titanium clubs outstanding when your on lol not sure I should be gaming it but couldn't help myself with the looks and feel! Thanks for the increasing efforts to differentiate models for different hcp/skill levels. I would appreciate a little more discussion on these. For example I play Ping SFT driver and 3W and would appreciate the discussion diving into these models and player characteristics (just as i imagine higher swing speed golfers would on LS models. Maybe a classification as you have for irons? Also i would appreciate clrity on swing speed, i really don’t know what “average” or “low” means for FW off the deck (or irons and driver for that matter). I watch and appreciate all your videos and feel that with the data you collect and the knowledge you have we could benefit even more 😊

I really love your reviews every season. Being a Senior golfer I would be a lower swing speed player. I love forgiveness and stability on mishits so of course I am always drawn to the Ping. My mystery is this. I used the Ping G 425 Max 3 & 5 Woods last season both in a senior flex that Ping offers. I tried the new Ping G 430 Max 3 Wood also in the Senior flex option. I was expecting to see a small difference in feel and performance . I played 9 holes yesterday with the G 430 Max 3 Wood. I found a huge difference in feel and performance. Better control, forgiveness and the ability to get the ball off the turf was amazing. Don't get me wrong, G 425 does a lot of things well but I was really blown away but what I was getting from the G 430 Max 3 wood. Would you guys know just what Ping did? Why would I be getting such a difference? I was expecting maybe a small uptick . Thanks guys, appreciate all you do. Your reviews are off the charts fantastic. Joe

Great to hear Joseph, really appreciate your feedback. The new carbon crown saves 10g from high up in the head which is pretty significant, of course you'd hope for some difference from this, but your gains sound greater than that. Hope you continue to enjoy them.

@@todaysgolfer Okay. Appreciate that info. I was wondering why it had such a different feel to it. I did notice the senior shaft offered this year is a bit lighter too for the G 430 Max Wood. I kinda thought you might say something about the carbon crown and thank you for that.
