Best Fantasy Book of 2023!

1.5 years ago I came up with an idea - I was going to write a fiction book for my kids. After many drafts, beta readers, and editors, it's finally complete. It's an awesome story and I wanted share with it with you!

About the book:
Genre: Middle grade fantasy (This is the same genre as Harry Potter and Percy Jackson).
Synopsis: Eleven-year-old River’s nightmares are more than just scary. They can cause earthquakes! When his house shakes after a terrifying dream, secret agents investigate his family to find the source. Little does he know that deep within him lies dormant magic, growing in power and trying to be released. As the authorities draw closer, he uncovers a staggering revelation: his mother is from another world.
Faced with the fear of what the authorities might do to him, River’s mother makes a life-altering decision. Harnessing the last remnants of her magic, she transports him to her world, Vii, using a mythical Level 7 spell that only exists in legends. In this strange land, River is sent to Ubble Academy, where he must compete against his peers to become a Mage. However, success at the academy is reserved for the privileged who have had the opportunity to train for years. If he fails, his magic will fade, and he will never see his parents again, let alone survive.
