i love feldenkrais. ive studied atm for 2 years, and have received over 36 fi lessons. i would not be walking or sitting without excruciating pain, because of stress fractured foot, herniated cervical, bulging thoracic lumbar stenosis discs and most recently bone spurs in my right shoulder. as a former modern dancer for 15 years, and swimmer a female cellist was unable to articulate what feldenkrais was. a dance colleague became a practitioner. maybe we would still be dancing in our 50s and 60s.

nice intro to back pain exercises. more advanced steps would require a bit more stretching.

Where did you read that? In all the science books and studies I've read more advanced steps would require more stiffness, especially when loading the lumbar spine.

I tried stretching for years and I only got worse. There are different theories.

It is possible to get rid of your back-pain permanently by replace your exercise a little - I've try and now nearly relief all the pain. I think you should try it
