If the franchise continues; and goes all the way to Darksiders 5 where hopefully we may get to play as all 4 Horsemen of the Apocalypse ... it'd be great to see Samael fight all Horsemen in their own respective games from Darksiders 1 to 4. Finally on the 5th one; it'd be a great plot to see Samael as the ultimate final boss of the franchise, being the one behind all the scheming and plotting. To see the 4 Horsemen go into their true forms along with Samael's true form ... it's a great send off for the franchise that their battle will ultimately determine the restoration of the Balance 😍

This is one of the most underrated games ever. not this game specifically But all of the darksiders franchise i hope people start to realize how good this game is . but to be honest they need to work more on the story and gameplay and cut scenes cut scenes actually looks like they are fake . they should make movie like cut scenes

Actually I think it would be pretty impressive to see a fight between War and Death, I personally prefer War because of his primitive, brutal and crude nature, but I believe it would be Death the winner within that fight, simply because you can't kill someone that is already dead, there is so much you can do to Death but beating him in a combat isn't enough.

Gdi, I love Samael so much. Probably my favorite villain of the DS games so far. Absalom has a good story with Death, but fuck was the fight anti-climactic. This one maintained his badass even after losing.

As King of the Bones said,seals heavly depower the Horsemen,so if they were removed,Death could easly overpower the King to tell him about the Well of Souls.I mean,Charred Council and the Horsemen are one of the three sides of the great conflict,others being angels and demons.To mantain Balance all horsemen are extremely powerful.I read somewhere that Death with his restrains removed is in top 3 most powerful beings in existence,and other Horsemen are not standing far from him.Also,during fight with Samael he didn' even tapped into Reaper,so he didn't even tried to kill him.But yeah,without restrains we would he would be Death's bitch

Victor Yarn actually I disagree and believe samael is actually stronger than death even with the seals broken. It would probably take all four of the horsemen to defeat him. Samael didn’t really care if death took the key. He was looking only to toy around with him resting him. Samael only used a fraction of his power here

the hardest boss for me was the last Lord in the City of the Dead. The one with the giant spider. at lvl 13 or and shjt weapon, it took me forever. And he fking hurts. Most boss fight video are people showing off insane dmg. Boss die too quick

Didn’t it say this was in the past? Before he was captured and before War helped him? In any case this is technically fully powered Samael who is holding back immensely and toying with Death. Though Death doesn’t have his full power, or even use his Reaper form. This fight was essentially a tease for a greater fight to come

juboraj hossain this was samael in the past so he does have is full power but i bet samael only used some of his power after all that fight was a test if it weren't then we be experiencing samael's wrath to the fullest. if he really wanted to he could kill a horsemen maybe 2 they would have the best chance if it was all four of them against a demon that could rival lucifer in terms of power

I actually did on the Wii U version. The second time, he bugged out and wouldn't cross the lava properly and ended up constantly dropping through it. Samael takes no damage from the lava so I had to use Redemption and Necro to kill him from out of range. When this did happen, the whole game was effectively broken. The cutscene that ends the battle played while Death and Samael were over the lava and after it was finished the game refused to put Death back on to solid ground. At the end of it all, I had to fight Samael three times and was robbed of victory twice.

So is it me or did this fight have a longer ending scene at the end when I first played the game? I remember it had a proper ending where Semael ends up on his throne after getting a beating. But ever since a few updates that ending seems gone and it simply cuts to black... does anybody know why or have the original ending?

@@aryaa7069 Not really, but at this stage in the game, you should have a stronger weapon and good enough arcane ability to be able to survive fighting Samael without Reaper Form. If you don't, then you will need Reaper Form. I personally used Reaper Form to destroy Absalom as he is pretty much a pathetic boss all around and I didn't care to waste time on him. Gorewood puts up more of a fight....but that's still not saying much as I tend to play games blind initially. I ended up fighting Gorewood right before entering the well of Souls. Apparently you are supposed to fight him much sooner...this might explain why I consider Gorewood as pathetic. Blethir on the other hand was a test of patience. Again, I didn't know you weren't really meant to challenge certain bosses before your level (and Resistance...) was good enough. I managed to kill the Deposed King at level 15 and didn't use Reaper Form and didn't die once but even more astonishing in retrospect is that I managed to kill Bheithir at only level 6 and spent the majority of the game not able to even use the weapon I earned.....

I did not like this for one simple reason. For a Demon Lord Samael fights like a damn coward! He keeps teleporting, getting in cheap shots, using spells from a distance, and overall not fighting like a demon lord should! If I'm trying to prove myself then stop treating this like a game and take me seriously! If you're gonna fight me, than fight like a warrior, one on one, man to man, and just stop moving around like rabbit bat out of hell AND FIGHT ME DAMN IT! I actually remember yelling at the screen "Your fighting me like a bitch I hope you know that! Now stand still AND FACE ME LIKE A WARRIOR COWARD!"
