@@CoachSambo awesome man! I'm nearly 40, coming back from a knee break and getting the kids into dancing while I (try to) work back up to power moves. Seeing guys my age still doing top rock and simple footwork keeps me going! Maybe I will pop some mills again soon 😁

A massive thank you I've been struggling with the flares for years, but I noticed where you placed your hand which is at the top of the triangle 🔺️. I must have been placing my hard slightly left off the top of the triangle but placing it at the top has improved it by 40%.thus adding way more power to my swing. now I can progress much faster figuring my power point. placing my head at the top of the triangle while swinging my hips all the way to the front has given me more lift. thank you so much 👍👍👍👍

Great tutorial. This is one powermove i have struggled with forever. I even gave up at one time. Power has been a weakness of mine. I am a footwork head. Do you think it's too late for a 38 yr old to continue pushing power?

@komm-unity64244 жыл бұрын
What about streching ? Do you think you have to be very flexibel or average good enough ?
@CoachSambo4 жыл бұрын
Average is fine bro. And don't stretch before training flares. Just a good warm up and don't forget the wrists.
@sailormoonsaya29885 жыл бұрын
I'm a slow learner .how do I get my wrist to get strong?
@joshuaper14 жыл бұрын
it might be redundant but forearm to airchair or head airchair.. forearm to one arm, head to one arm.. probably knock it all out in one vid.. airchair up and even crab up, are both hard as funk, so i'm not expecting u to pump these tutorials over night i'm just saying them in case nobody else said it already peace
@yinh50345 жыл бұрын
Do you have a remedy for wrist pains after flares?
@CoachSambo5 жыл бұрын
It's unavoidable... I had multiple injuries on both my wrists back in the day. Rest is the first remedy lol... Finding balance between practicing as much as you can and not overwork the wrist. Once the pain starts to leave, be patient. Avoid flares and airflares for a while and invest more in your warm-up and reinforcement of the joints.

Does anyone else stab with their right (and thus do clockwise windmills, halo, ground power, etc) but FLARE in the opposite direction????
@CoachSambo5 жыл бұрын
Frank Zuo It looks like you learned flare in the wrong direction 😣. That’s why I mention the part of the directions... You will have to re-learn it in the other direction. A little demotivating BUT it does not take that long if you know who to do them in the other direction because you know “the steps”. Long term you will have the advantage of doing flares both sides ✅
