Best Flash for Small Camera? FlashQ System

I'll talk about a small camera flash I got a few months ago, called LightPix Labs FlashQ M20.
This tiny flash is always in my camera bag, and I'm going to show you all the cool things it can do.

I use the one for sony. I think it would have been much better if the minimum light level was 1/128. The other drawback is that unexplained duds occur quite often. The good thing is that it has a modeling mode, which turns off the light exactly between releases. However, the dimming is manual only.

Congratulations for the first video. Well done. Interesting that the device also works manually on other cameras, I didn't know that. And the company also sells a non-TTL version of the transmitter. Why? Then you don't need it at all. Have you compared the M20 with the Q20? It seems pretty similar and has a tripod mount. Are there any other differences? BTW: S2 means that the flash ignores the pre-flash that some cameras emit (e.g. to combat red-eye or to measure brightness) and only fires with the second, the main flash.

Thank you! Yes, for manual flash you dont seem to need a different flash. I did shoot them an email asking about something that would work with the Canon, but they told me to get another one for that - which is not needed. I have not compared any other model but I'm sure they are all comparable. No I know what the S2 is for, will try this out! Thanks!

@@RobertoRodriguezPhoto Yes. That's really interesting. I also wrote to LightPix Labs and asked if I could use the TTL version of the Flashq X20 for Fuji on other camera brands. They replied that I could use the flash, but that I need a different transmitter. But that's not true. I can use the Fuji transmitter and the X20 (of course in manual mode) on all of my cameras (even very old analog film cameras that don't even have a battery) if the hot shoe is the right size. BTW: I also bought the "FlashQ Trigger Kit T2". This is really practical. This allows me to use all my cameras with all my flashes.

Thanks for the info the the Fuji version will also work on any other camera. Also just saw that manual also works off camera on other cameras than Fuji :)
