Fun Fact: Big Pun was VERY heavily influenced by Kool G Rap.. So much so that he has once even bowed to him, and kneeled down kissing his ring.. And to be honest, you can see the influence from how he created rhyme schemes, and uses cyllables.

Hey Mr. King. Ty so so much for sharing this. It's the first time I've ever heard Big Pun and what a flow beyond belief! Word configurations off the charts! My first reaction other than linguistic shock, took me back to an originator innovator Rakim who 10 years earlier with Eric B., as you already know, changed the game with word flow possibilities. You've already given Rakim lots of reaction videos already, but if you ever get a chance to add this to your channel: I Ain't No Joke or My Melody original mix, it'd be greatly appreciated.

Yo I subscribed to your channel a long time ago, bro!! As a older Hip-Hop head, it does my heart good to know that young cats like you can get a dose of the real, understand it, appreciate it, and even be moved by it.. Most the music today is heartless and cold. This shit has a feeling and can touch you.. The machine pushes microwave music, so you never get a chance to feel it. I appreciate your channel, and love the fact that you can get the same feeling I may have had on a song 20-30 yrs ago. This is one of the best tracks on the album, and this is among the greatest hip-hop albums of all time. Notice how the bass drops out during the chorus? It's a sinister effect, with the violin in the background. The lyrics are oozing with pop culture, mafia, and gang references. Props to his DJs and producers for filling in the space. Pun died when he was 28 years old from morbid obesity. They say that the candle that burns twice as bright burns half as long. Think about this- he died before 9/11. Compare this track with anything from the last 15 years, and there is simply no analogue. Pure genius.
