i think some people do actually have to wear foundation for 12-14 hours. so i get why companies are making it. if you have a full time job and an hour commute like me from the time you put on your makeup to the time you get home and wash your face it's easily 12 hours. and thats assuming you're coming straight home. add it running an errand after work or walking the dog when you first get home and you are up to 14 hours easily. also your highlighter is banging!

I love the foundation.. looks great as long as you're not clicking a picture .. too many layers of it, and looks wayy lighter on camera .. annoying for an expensive foundation. I have been getting into makeup for the last year & some change. I brought a few foundations & the smashbox one has been my favorite(& perfect) match. It looks like my skin, last long, & doesn't run off my face. I still want to try the L'Oréal pro-matte. It's on my list to get but I haven't brought makeup in a while. For the double wear, definitely go to the MAC counter and spend $10 for a pump. It's expensive tbh, but very worth it. I used to wear Estée Lauder DW but it emphasized my pores and texture so much. My nose still gets so oily no matter what I do. Eye primer, matte primer, powder before foundation, my nose still produce so much oil. What is the highlight on your nose?! I have oily combination skin & the lady at Sephora said it was good for me. Unfortunately it didn't work for me ON MY DRIER AREAS. It worked fine on my oily zones but it separated on my drier/normal areas, even when I set it. I tried working with it by setting it with a brush, with a sponge directly on my smile lines (where it separates the most), & with a velour puff. Nothing worked for me. :/

I actually tested the L'Oréal Infallible foundation for 24 hours! Applied it at 6am for school and didn't get home till 6am the next day. I only blotted the oil a little and applied some powder afterwards on my nose and t zone. The foundation looked flawless! I was shocked. I love it so much. One of my favorites ❤️ I do feel that I need to point out that this was around October, so my skin wasn't as oily as it is in the summertime.

My best foundations seem to be influenced by a lot of youtubers lol. My favorites are (best to least): 1.) Estée Lauder double wear 2.) Fenty Pro Filt’r 3.) maybelline Fit me matte + Poreless 4.) L’Oréal infallible matte 5.) Smashbox studio skin 15 hour wear I’d like to say Smashbox was higher up on that list but it’s not amazing to me...if anyone has any suggestions on full-coverage look for that one, would love to know.

you know what's so interesting? how different foundations work for everybody. i only have combo skin (normal everywhere except my oily nose) and i swear make up for ever matte velvet has broken up horribly on my face every time i've tried it. separating all over the place! but everybody else seems to love it. i also like the double wear for its long wear but i DEFINITELY look like a ghost in photos with that one.

The Teint Idole looks good when I put it on, but then it gets darker after a couple hours. I also had to blot my forehead after 5 hours, and that paper towel had SO MUCH OIL on it!
