I feel like so many of us are going through this, these men have no loyalty and it really hurts when you are asking for basic things like not cheating and lying. But instead of giving that they would rather move on to a women that hasn't figured out that they are liars and cheaters yet

I have been happily divorced for 11 years…several things you said, I was happy to hear and I was the same #1 being happy you have your child, I am so happy I have my daughter, she was 3 when we separated then divorced a year later, she is now 15 and tells me how happy she is that I did not stay with her dad, she has seen him married and divorced twice, as much as he loves her and she loves him, we love our peaceful home together and we have been able to decorate 2 homes together, our 2nd home I had built and we designed it together, we have had a beautiful life together and something else you said, my grandmother always told me, “keep yourself looking good” I have been a gym rat since I was 21, lifting weights got me through graduate school, marriage, pregnancy, divorce and my whole life, it help me with depression and aggression and it kept me fit! My daughter turned me onto KZbin when she was 4 yo 😂 and I have loved makeup ever since. You look beautiful, keep it up and focus on you and your daughter…y’all will be fine and men will want you always, you can choose when and who you want to be with…but still have fun 😊

girl...Thank you for your transparency. I got married in April and in June, I went thru a terrible domestic violence situation with my husband ... that was the end of it. I am currently preparing for the divorce process for my safety and peace. I only got a sniff of marriage, not even a TASTE and boom its over lol.... God definitely had my back with this one. I am actually looking forward to this single phase.

As a child of parents went through a divorce… children also get to a point of maturity where they realize that parents aren’t perfect and when you’ve truly done your best they can see that and can appreciate that you did the best while shouldering the weight of all the pain you’ve experienced and still had to keep going. I know each child is different but i hope this can soothe some of the concern.

Marriage is work and it can get very tough at times - and some of the things you experience during a divorce, some go through in marriage. But, trust me you're right when you've been with someone for a long time you get used to doing things with someone. Recently I spent 6hrs ALONE...no husband or children and it felt great. It was like getting to know me all over again and I loved it. When I was younger I used to think doing things alone was weird, but BAYBAYYYYY when I say I didn't care that I sat at a really nice restaurant alone and ate my food and enjoyed my own company and laughed with the waitress...I am actually ready to do that again 😂😂😂🎉

Love that you mentioned that you have to do things that make you happy. I feel like often when you are with someone you can lose yourself in them. You stop doing things that you like to do things you both like, or what they like to please them. It’s super important to focus on what makes you happy if you’re going through a break up or with someone cause no one is going to make you happy more than yourself.
