A nice walkthrough and your sketches look amazing! I started sketching for the first time ever a few months ago and use a TWSBI Eco in extra fine; I have been wanting to put together a cheap compact kit that I can keep on hand ready to go, and your suggestion of using a TWSBI Go is definitely the best way to go I think. Muji fountain pen is my favorite fountain pen with a “normal” nib, after some tweaking. I have the duke 209 fude/bent nib pen, which I also love. That hongdian bent nib is tempting! The sailors aren’t really for me either.

Kaweco sport is my fav. I have plastic ones, aluminum, brass, and steel. I love the heavier ones most, but the plastic are so fun cuz they r inexpensive and easy to collect. Plus Im less precious with the plastic ones cuz I can replace them without paying too much 😊

Love your pictures. Technically you should store fountain pens either on their side or nib up. Most, if stored nib down will leak into the cap.

Thank you! I can't remember the brand, but it is natural squirrel with synthetic fibers in the middle. I really only use it occasionally for swatching!
