To start the program just go back into the folder where TRELLIS is installed, open command prompt in that directory and type: "python ./app.py"

Can someone tell Google to split up the model into smaller parts for example humans and even sub parts for humans and then animals plants vehicles etc each with their own subparts and so on. This way the models can be much smaller, specialized, and accessible. Technically it's doable possibly without any changes to the underlying structure of the model at all.

Really good video. How would you make it so a character could hold another object? Like make the troll hold an axe?

You can import both of them into blender or other software of your choice, position the axe in the troll's hand and parent it to the other model (the troll in your case). You can find more tutorials specific to your software on youtube. Here's a quick example: kzbin.info/www/bejne/oZmmoISaptB-n9U

hmm, why it needs 16GB VRAM? if it has 1b parameters?

It might work with less VRAM as some users pointed out but on their official GitHub page they mention you need at least 16GB.

I ran it with 3060 8 gb vram without webui. All functions are working fine

PSA : Trellis allows commercial usage but some of the scripts and 3rd party modules that are incorporated into Trellis DO NOT allow for commercial use. Its a grey area for now so I wouldn't stake my business on Trellis since at any point somebody could file a lawsuit.
