Do you by chance know any vst plugins for PVC pipe xylophones (or a drum with a similar sound)? The only version I could find was a paid one that was taken down from the manufacturers website.

I have Vital VST in my plugins folder but in tracktion waveform, when i click on the plugin in my track, it opens an improperly scalled interface. also in the plugin list under image column, i see a camera icon beside vital only but not for any other plugins. @@jonshulman740 you can use the piano roll with any of the drum plugins. With EZ drummer you can either create your own midi files in the piano roll or step sequencer and control it that way. Thank you Zane! It took me some time to figure this one out. I was using EZ drummer as a drum machine. I didn't know you could use the Cakewalk VSTs in other DAWs. Do you just copy and paste the respective folders into your other DAWs VST plugins folder?
@AudioTechTV2 жыл бұрын
I’m pretty sure you can use all of them except the overloud ones (TH3 and BreVerb). You could copy and paste the dll files into your current VST folder or you could add the Cakewalk VST plugin folder to the list of folders that your other daw scans for new plugins.
@arturogarduñoguitar Жыл бұрын
Some DAW’s will automatically program Cakewalks VST’s into their own plugin files. Since cakewalks VST and other files are installed separately most if not all of them are compatible with other DAW’s.

I feel like I've seen all these talked about over and over the past year, and none of them are really great... I like LABS and sometimes MT, but they are generally frustrating to work with. So strange we have so many amazing free synth plugins like vital, but really no great free rock drum solutions- just "passable" ones at best..
@AudioTechTV2 жыл бұрын
What is it that you find frustrating with MT Power Drumkit and Labs drums?
@officialWWM2 жыл бұрын
@@AudioTechTV what I find frustrating is there is only one kit and everyone is using it.

@@officialWWM ok. I understand now. I thought you meant the actual usability of it. You can add saturation and edit each drum in multi output to really make it your own.
@pressspacetostop2 жыл бұрын
@@AudioTechTV Labs has reverb you can't remove, is not that terrible otherwise. MT I feel personally is digital and cold, and frustrating to mix a cheap sounding kit into an expensive sounding one (I can't get it to sound great anyways. I can get it to sound OK. I've released a few songs with it- all songs that have had about 16-20 hours of mixing, so if there's an issue its me or the kit). Both kits have snares that leave much to be desired- or at least the snare on MT is very cold and harsh and not fun to listen to at all. A drum solution for a lively and warm sounding kit would be great, but the only thing remotely close to that is Superior Drummer, and I just can't spend $400 on a vst right now. I understand you get what you pay for, it's just frustrating not being able to get drums that sound like my favorite records when by comparison its quite easy to get guitars and synths and vocals like my favorite records.
@AudioTechTV2 жыл бұрын
ik multimedia just released Modo Drums 1.5 today. You can get the custom shop version for free and it comes with 1 kit. Of course it gets released on the day I release this video lol. But give that one a try and see if it works for you. Another option is to use a sampler or another drum plugin just to add snare reinforcement for MT. Ive always had to do that with that kit.

@AudioTechTV8 ай бұрын
You can’t hear my voice or the sounds? If you can’t hear the sounds, I stip talk g after each explanation and just let them play so you can hear them. The interesting thing is that in my analytics for videos like this, most people skip ahead when I stop talking. So whether I talk over some background sounds or not, I still show the same amount of audio only portions for each instrument.
