Please make more video tutorials about PhotoScape X. You have given us an excellent overview of the capabilities of this amazing software. All of the tut's I've been able to find covering PhotoScape contain no voice description of what the steps are to create the demonstrated effect. They are basically a series of screen captures, in a not very clear resolution, that go by so fast it is nearly impossible to follow. Many hobbyists would really appreciate some tutorials on this software that are a step by step detailed explanation about the individual features, such as how to make a background transparent, tips and tricks that can be done with layers, how to swap out colors, etc.

Been using Photoscape for years, but I do like Photoscape X pro too. I'd like to see a few more filters, but for freeware, or $30 you can't beat it.

Hi Eric, I appreciate your video. But could you tell us how to edit RAW files? I see that you have a RAW pulled up on the screen. But it doesn't appear any different than a jpeg image. hey, love the tutorial, i rly think this is an amazing photo editer I have one question tho,after you have edited a raw file can you 'save' the file, by which i mean: convert the raw file to a JPEG and then replace the original Raw file with this edited JPEG I would rly appreciate it if you find a way coz thi is rly bugging mee Keep up the great content!!!

it is a free d/l so you can install and use. When doing so, you will see in each area of tools etc the word "Pro" on each item that is only available based upon a purchase. As time has gone by, I think the current price is now $40. One thing that is quite quick to mention is the if you want use such things as lens correction, transform etc Pro is required. Another useful tool for many is Clone/Stamp and that is Pro. There are many others so if those are things you need, just spring for it. Unfortunately, Layers are not available and I don't know the reason. Too bad as it does limit its usage. Alternatively for about $20 more you could try Affinity Photo and there are many many creators of great tutorials on how to use the product.

I have been using Photoscape for about 6 mos. and love it..i was ready to buy the $30 version until I tried it the other day and noticed a new Magic Color button..its great except that now, the sliders do not edit in real time anymore..it kind of buffers and annoying to wait to see how the edit looks...hope it is just a bug because I want to upgrade, but wont until it is fixed..maybe its on my end..not sure

I think it is not a bug is your computer, ours performs the same. i think just a new computer would solve this.

Been using this platform for a while & liked it. But lately I'm not able to save anything, the platform just freezes then closes, without saving. Tried to contact Photoscape for help, but they don't answer my emails, which is the only way to contact them. Can't just re-download, as I have to pay again. smh

There's a Photoscape X Facebook Group, if you're interested in joining. They may help you if you still have issues. To me, it sounds like a slow computer issue. Running out of storage.

I used both, photoshop x is more user friendly. Does things quickly with few commands. Moreover, ACDSee is paid program. I have it still on my iPad but not using much because of Affinity.
