Not many people are easily swayed by male validation because it's not "male validation", it's manipulation. Emotional abuse, and it doesn't have a gender. Don't accuse her of that.
@dreamer4Jesus12 жыл бұрын
Let’s stop calling him toxic and call a spade a spade. He is abusive. That is one of the first signs of abuse in a relationship is isolating the person from their friends and family both in person and online. When someone controls you like that, it is so they can more easily do what they want without there being any consequences and the person who they isolated becomes to afraid to reach out for help. They feel a thousand miles away from loved ones. I am so glad this girl was there for her friend and that the story had a happy ending. Let’s just stop hiding behind the word toxic. He was emotionally abusive by manipulating the friend. Bottom line.

This unfortunately could also happen in gay couples too so always do not forget about respect for yourself and your boundaries. I went to nearby country to cosplay with my new friend. My country was homophobic so when i came and found out that my friend, a girl, has a girlfriend i was happy to finally see a different free world. But when we went to the con together, my friend who invited me, a foreighner, to another country, immediatelty abandoned me there, didnt spend any time, did not take photos together. I thought she had a reason, but in reality she cuddled with her girlfriend the whole day, between the performances. It wasnt a surprise to later found out that their relationship are toxic, where one side asks to much from the second, which gives the first side everything in return, so the relationship would stay.

Basically until this new kid(we'll call him ken lmao), Ken was a super fast runner, football player, really popular, but really mean too. Anyways, she liked him and he liked her back, we were happy(my friends and her friends) for her. But, for 2 years staright, she became really mean and none of us wanted to hang out with her, in our classes together,, she'd wanna sit next to ken and be mean about us. Aswell as that, when we talked to her, she wouldn't slisten, when she was talking about ken..we'd listen. Then they broke up. And shes still like this, dosent listen to us and dosent wanna sit with us, come with sleepovers because our "status" is less then hers and we're nobodys. damn.

From the title, I had a feeling it’s about a girl who ended up in a toxic relationship since she chose her boyfriend over her best friend and I knew it. But most importantly don't just stop doing things you love for that special person to love you, you don't have to be some expectation or live for them. And if your in a toxic relationship then just breakup. Both people in a relationship need their own space and most importantly to be comfortable with each other. At least Addison is the smart one in the end. Most people would actually choose to lose their good friends and keep their toxic date. If someone really loves you for what you do. Then they have to respect you that you have friends. Saying that you shouldn't have friends is wrong and toxic. If you are in a toxic relationship, then you must do what's right for you so you can still live a healthy life. Getting rid of them is the best one you can do. The longer you don't do something then the longer those toxic people are hurting you.

Yay storybooth posted! I like the new style but I do kinda miss the old style of animation. I liked the frame-by-frame look ( idrk what to call it lol) but the new style is cool too :) I love that storybooth actually has REAL stories!

Never choose a boy over your girlfriends 😮💨 it’s the number one rule of girl code ❤️ I’m glad Addison realised she had an unhealthy relationship with Jamie

kinda have a similar story. befriended a girl at 11, we were friends for almost a decade. but at 17 or 18 she started dating a guy. he was all she would ever talk about. she laughed when i asked her about her grandmothers death, she made fun of my breakup, but when her bf went off to college it was such a tragedy 🙄 when the covid 19 pandemic began, she hung out with him since day 1, even though no one was allowed to hang out with anyone that wasn’t family. even after quarantine ended, even after she got vaccinated, she’d only hang out with me if we were social distancing, 6 feet apart from each other and outdoors because she was “scared of getting covid”. at the time, i was seeing all my other friends without masks like normal, she was the only one who set these boundaries. i thought that was weird. we went on a walk and 95% of the time she was talking about her bf, how they were happy together, how much she loved his house and that she was going to go to a different state on a vacation with him. that was a year ago and i havent seen or spoken to her since then. i miss the time we had together and i really cherish the memories we made, but i felt it was best to move on. i don’t like liars and people who obsess over their partners. i don’t care about other peoples relationships.
