Yeah it has. I think it can easily be seen as them growing apart but I genuinely feel like they have matured into their friendship. The last video was beautiful but I think a large part of their friendship was based on perceptions of each other that weren't accurate. They were enamored with each other. It's a stage that every new beautiful relationship/friendship goes through but you eventually learn that no one is perfect and that there are things about people that you're crazy about that you really don't like or agree with. It's at that point that your relationship is truly tested and you either grow into each other or apart from each other. They may still be figuring that last part out but I think they will survive.

I felt this video so deeply. My best friend and I are so so close and love each other very much, and that's sometimes detrimental because we just want the best for each other, and we judge that differently for one another. That phrase it's a curse to feel everything deeply is true, but being vulnerable enough to feel everything is very brave. Let's face it, if you're not vulnerable, there IS a lot less pain, but there's a LOT less love too

I'm totally like Kate in my friendships. Sometimes people don't need to be talked out of doing what they want because you end up being a toxic person that they don't want to open up to, because you make them feel misunderstood. Now, unless someone asks me what to do, I just smile, nod and let them know I'm there for them if they need me. The duty of a friend is to be there to help mop up the mess.
