I finally did it!!!! I was brave enough to go back to my Magma cube spawner and built your farm!!! It was way easier than I expected. I even added 3 of each color frog!! 🎉🎉🎉 and.... you are correct, I now have more froglights than I know what to do with.... 🎉🎉🎉🎉 Thanks again!!!

This farm works great! Only complaint is that the frogs occasionally hop out of their chamber so maybe drop it down a few extra blocks if you want to minimize their escaping! Other than that 10/10

I had the same issue and just tethered the frogs to a fencepost underneath the center hopper.

@@masterjakeway @BlazedMCs thanks for the helpful tip, I’m much more likely to do that than move my system down a few more blocks lol. I just checked my farm and all of my frogs had disappeared and are nowhere to be found. They were name tagged and no way for them to escape any further than my closed off AFK room. Perhaps they got stuck in the snow and froze? Any ideas??

I made something like this on my world several months ago. At that time, the spawner could be disabled by placing a 5x5 (Edit: it might be 7x7) platform above the spawner, or if that didn't work than covering the spawner in a 5x5x5 diamond pillar.

@@kagendralaga Not from my experience. Magma spawning from this does not appear to care about light level. It only cares about whether there is room in the spawner range for a large magma cube to appear. If you block up enough spaces around the spawner that a cube could not spawn, then it will stop the spawner. On the wiki, there is a grid of nine strategically placed blocks that "could" do this. These blocks worked for me (Bedrock v1.20.80 or so), but I did find videos from earlier that showed this formation not working, and I know that v1.21 changed several spawn mechanics and I don't know if these magma spawners were changed in any way). You could look for SilentWisperer's froglight farm video from a few years ago to see what he does to disable the spawner. That method will likely always work. Hope this helps. ~Cam

I had 3 name tagged frogs and a working farm, but when I most recently checked all my frogs have disappeared with nowhere for them to go besides the magma cube room and my afk room. I’m stumped. Can they get stuck and freeze in the snow??

I accidentally have a 4 block drop to the carpets instead of a 3 block gap. The frogs every so often jump out. Is that because of the one block difference? Great Video man.

Nah I have a 3 block gap and they’re still escaping every now and then. I think their max jump is 8 so maybe try moving the frog spot down even lower to avoid them hopping out

@@DizzyyFTW somehow my green frog disappeared despite being name tagged. Maybe got stuck in the snow and froze? Also, somebody mentioned to attach the frogs to a fence underneath the central hopper with a lead to avoid them jumping out of your 4 block chamber

Make the hole 9 blocks deep. They can jump 8 blocks.

Torches won't disable the spawner. To disable it, you need to surround it by 4 blocks in all directions. Be careful not to break it!

Meanwhile I’m in the middle of this MASSIVE project with a 15x15 spawn area, a magma cube and slime spawner (Add-ons) and a huge drop (16 blocks) so more mobs can keep spawning. My biggest mistake was using tinted glass for the walls 😂

Don't build like this in survival. Light doesn't stop magma spawns. You have to start by blocking the spawn spots
