I wish all coaster youtubers had 10% of the excitement and joy in this video. That's how it's done! Thanks for this

Thanks, I actually had to tone it down a little bit in the edit to save myself some embarrassment....Going back to edit this after everything that’s happened in the last three months is making me cherish this trip so much more and I’m so glad it happened last year

@@TheCoasterSpot That fair looked spectacular. All the rides, lights and activity. To bad there aren't any like it here in the states.

The atmosphere was unreal being in the dead center of Luxembourg City. That would never work in any major US city

Thank you so much for watching and all your comments! I’ll get back to the Europe trip but I want get all my old domestic videos posted and of course parks are finally opening! So the Europe videos are going to be on hold for now...

@@TheCoasterSpot Haha no worries! I now have your other non-Euro video backlog to watch in the meantime (although I do wanna see that Taron review, my favorite coaster). Curious about how you feel after the trip and stuff as well, will there be a conclusion kinda summary video eventually? Not a top whatever, don't care that much about tops, but highlights, things to keep in mind for next time and stuff. Dunno it's interesting to me, these cultures. There is a lot of stuff happening right now - mostly bad stuff - on top of all kinds of personal reasons. Do what you wanna do, do what you gotta do. I really like your down to earthness so I'll keep an eye out.

Hey man, Luxembourg is actually one of the most unique fairs in the world. This is since Luxembourg itself does not have many showmen so most of the rides are all from showmen from other countries (mostly French, Netherlands, German or Belgium). In my opinion this is not the best fair in Europe, however. There you need to go to Germany, like München, Düsseldorf, Herne, Stuttgart. Those are insane sizes and have the chance to get Olympia Looping.

btw i love your excitement in the videos, especially with the funfairs

Sadly this year it probably won't be open due to corona, and if they open it it's said to be greatly reduced in size. Greetings from Luxembourg

I'm discovering your channel through this video (and the separave POV of Bayern Kurve) and I'm glad you enjoyed one of Europe's best funfair! I'm guessing you're from the US (or at least North America) so fairs here might be on a whole other level haha! I just regret you didn't show some rides like the Circus Circus and Take Off, but I guess you were limited on time and the place was really, really crowded. If you were to come back in Europe again, I would highly recommend the Cannstatter Volksfest in Stuttgart, it's a similar event to the Oktoberfest in Munich but in a more traditional fair style (Munich felt too much like a tourist trap to me), and it has what is considered to be the World's Best Huss BreakDance, as well as the most intense Huss Flipper you will ever find. But anyway, really cool to see you so happy to discover a real big European fair, most people who make a trip to Europe don't show that much interest!

Thank you so much for your kind comments! I am from Pennsylvania in the United States, and the funfairs don’t even compare! Some of the state fairs have some cool exhibits, but the first fairs I visited in France blew me away, although the ones in France don’t hold up to the ones in Germany & Luxembourg! Looking back, I felt like I should’ve done some more rides and ridden some things over again, but at the same time, it was a very long trip. I don’t regret anything, but I will think of your tips in future trip plans. I figured some Europeans didn't consider Oktoberfest as the best funfair you can attend. Still, as an American, the lore of it is overpowering, and I have to do it someday!

Man, what can be said about Alpina Bahn, even without loops it’s a great coaster to ride. The layout is fun (especially that spectacular first drop) and the hills provides some good airtime moments, not to mention how intense it is. Unfortunately, I still felt a bit of a rattle during the ride but it wasn’t that big and overall, Alpina Bahn is just a great coaster to ride at this fair
