That’s bloody rich coming from a Tory talking about the labour budget making a social care black hole for councils when it’s ten Tories over 14 years destroying local authorities. My dad works for a council, in the forestry department, his budget has been cut more than 2/3s every 2 years. His team went from 15 to 3 in 10 years! His job is now on the line because the council can’t keep the forestry department going after further cuts and no longer getting EU funding (which was where most income for agricultural multicultural and forestry departments/groups were coming from). We’re not just destroying councils, we’re destroying the environment by cutting professionals in this field and instead councils have to raise taxes to keep social care going when that burden keeps on growing instead should be part of the wider NHS budget. Councils should providing good enough services, fuelling the youth with incentives (like NCS and youth programs), keeping their communities safe - instead they’re being run into the ground!

More than looks good he is good. A decent man wants to put the country first. Extremely difficult task when the foundations have been taken down by the Tories. One blessing the Tories are opposition hopefully for a very long time.
