The 43 was my first carry gun. Now, after about 5 years of trying out several different guns for EDC I find myself going back to the 43 more and more of late. It is just so light, easy to hide, and very comfortable to carry... Even with a TLR6 on it!

....just a small detail to help...go with a material filter on the light or reflector / diffuser or move it a little more overhead or left or right and not the same source angle as the camera....you got white circles in your eyes...nothing anyone would really notice in a gun video but if you want to get into B movies or such.

I know this is an older video from 6 years ago, but the sights from Truglo are actually excellent. It's not just fibreoptic but also tritium, so the sights perform equally in both day and night. Even at night the fibreoptic tubes will pick up the glow from light sources, and have a glow due to the tritium. With the TLR-6 you have a great small conceal carry pistol. I don't use lasers for sighting too much, but if I have a light with the laser, I set the laser up for 35 feet, since it's meant for defense. The laser can be an aid if you're injured or don't have time to aim properly. I usually carry the Glock 43X MOS, but a smaller pistol is sometimes needed if the weather is fairly hot and humid. Being in Florida, a small pistol is a requirement for much of the year.

Yes, the TLR-6 just clamps on the trigger guard and has 3 screws to clamp it together..very simple

Your upgrades are all good but all i did was add plus one floor plates for grip and 1 extra round and a extended slide stop for ease of take down. nothing more needed for a back-up and waist line gun. My g19 gen 5 is my edc.

Hey... Bout a month ago I commented on a nice job on the mods you had put on your Glock 43. I recently just did some mod work on my 43 and 2 things I did was added that Streamliight and I changed out the sights to the True Glow fiber optics with the tridium inserts and really love the configurations. Thanks for the inspiration and making an already good firearm even better.

I wonder after seeing *GlockGuy226's* video if the Glock 43 6th Generation will have steel night sights, an undercut finger guard, a better grip stipple job, and a 7 round magazine with an 8 round magazine in the case. I say this because it seems everyone's video on the Glock 43 has most of these "upgrades". Not being negative, just an observation. We will see at the 2019 Shot Show.

I had a Glock 43 and just changed the sights to Big Dot Sights because of my over 50 years old eyes. The only other thing I did to the G43 was add Taren Tactical +1 & +2 floor plates on some magazines. I saw some Special Forces/Ops fellows who all carried the Glock 43 everyday with what they do to their guns. It was interesting. Good video! Ive been debating from the 26 and the 43. I love the capacity on the 26. I do like the width as well. Also the options you have with the mags where you can use 19, 17, and the 30 capacity. I already have Home defense pistol. Which has a 2 17+1 mag. So the 26 I don’t really need. The 43 i love the size. Love the fact that is straight up for concealed carry. The 6+1 really sucks...but what do we expect for a small gun?! I think you, this video convinced me. I like what you did with the 43. The hyve extension are nice too. I like the way they fit. Makes the pistol look a lot better than the taran tactical ones. Which are $15 dollars more than the hyve. Nice vid, I would suggest upgrading one other thing.. which happens to be the worst things about the 43, the trigger.. put a overwatch precision DAT or TAC trigger in there and a ghost edge connector and you'll be amazed at how much better it shoots and feels

David Ramer I have ghost connectors in other glocks and they definitly do help, In my 43 i just polished all internals including the connector and im getting 4.5lb pulls with the agency trigger. For an edc gun im pretty happy with it. My glock 19 also has an agency trigger and i polished all internals and it get 3-3.5lb pulls with stock connector

S C Thanks for the sub! I typically carry my glock 19 but when im at work i carry the G43. I have to stay concealed at all times so it works. Nothing wrong with carrying a full size gun, holsters and belts really come into play but once you find a good system you are good to go!

NIce setup. I went with the Tyrant designs route. Except on my glock 43 i got the Zaffiri Precision SS threaded barrel and curve face billet silver trigger assembly. ALso did some chrome red vinyl wrap on the slide. Ill make a video on here and send ya a link if you want.

I have replaced the guide rod to a heavier tungsten rod. An extended slide release, and complete drop in trigger group from one of the "top" of the line companies. Am happy compared to factory but am also doing mods to my factory trigger group to get to where I wana be with pretravel. Also have the TLR light wich combined the the heavier guide rod has seemed to help alot with double and multi shot grouping. What have you done for trigger mods, any?

As far as the undercut, I use a dremel with a sanding wheel and then polish it up with mothers mag & aluminum polish to blend the color..I run a bunch of different triggers but in my Glock 43 im running an Agency Arms trigger

As of January 2019 Best & *cheaper* upgrade today for the Glock 43 is a stock Glock 43X with the night sight option from the factory. A light can be carried separate from the gun if you feel a need for a light.

Sub compact for the summer with the shorts. Full size 1911 for the winter and the pants that support the weight better. Sure you can carry a full size 1911 in shorts, but everyone is going to know it’s there. 🤷🏼‍♂️ personal preference
