I've said for years as a Forest fan that this sleeping giant will one day wake up. We were playing some lovely football last season but we needed to plug a gap and that was in the back line. Along comes Milenkovic and the gap is now plugged. Then Morato to sure that up. Selz is flying with confidence because of the players in front of him. Any European place would be great but champions league would be out of this world. We are a very very solid outfit and last night showed that. Let's not forget that we've not only beat Liverpool this season, beat Brentford at home when no one else could and now we've stopped wolves scoring when they've scored in every home fixture this season. I knew other clubs supporters would love the Nottingham Forest story right now, it’s because of Brian Clough yes but primarily down to us being away from the top flight for 23 years, I was 1 years old when Brian Clough became the Forest manager 50 years ago today, I think his charisma and honestly , and approach to fair play resonates with many and let’s not forget about his wit and family values. While we are the most recent club to have won the top flight of English football immediately from promotion, Everton (1931-32), Tottenham (1950-51), and Ipswich Town (1961-62) all achieved the feat before us. Matt Selz is possibly, no probably the worst keeper ive ever seen at Newcastle...well its between him and Mike Hooper 😂. But he has looked brilliant for forest...good on you mate. Chris Wood, i knew was a decent striker but we simply weren't playing to his strengths. We weren't putting any crosses in to the box at all which is ironic now as we have put loads of crosses in this season when hes not there. Gordon, Hall and Murphy are 1,2 and 3 for crosses into the box in the Premier League. Elliot Anderson will be a brilliant midfielder and will benefit from more game time at forest. Forest are a fantastic club with loads of history and a fantastic loyal fanbase and its really heartwarming to see them back fighting near the top of the league and hopefully back in europe next season. It makes me feel young again and if nuno could just get a green jumper it would complete my transportation back in time

I thought at the beginning of the season that everyone was underestimating Forest and had us down as being potentially the best of the mid-table bunch. But I never in my wildest dreams imagined we could be thinking about top 4 let alone the title. This side remind me a lot of the Clough side that won the league and 2 European cups. Never say never.

They were because they hadn't researched the first two seasons and noticed that despite the relegation battles, they played good football, and teams signing loads of players of quality need time to gel. Last season sort of disrupted their progress (points deduction debacle etc) but the work behind the scenes was creating a stronger outfit for this season. Hopefully next year the so called pundits will look at the big picture- not just league position at the end of the previous season.

Sels was indifferent for the first two months of the season, but adjusting to having Milenkovic with Murillo in front of him has transformed his confidence and belief. He's become super solid, just like the entire team. No superstars, no egomaniacs, just all for one and one for all. Forest is the best 'team' in the league. Salah is a diva. Alexander-Arnold is ego driven. They wouldn't be welcome at the Forest training ground. I'd rather Forest finish second than have players like that corrupting the harmony and spirit of the club.
