Overall great list. I also was running combine rusher in my list in the ride deck as there are multiple ways to send it out of soul. I def agree with the draw and front argument. I personally ran fronts aswell only because if going for a 5 meteor attack a front would be devastating as instead of drawing 2 and giving 2 units 10k you instead get to give 60k power to the board and if you manage to check a crit right after and the opponent perfect guarded the vanguard, depending on how much damage the opponent took in the early game it really seals the deal.

Hey @solemnvanguard got a question how do you deal with certain matchups where the opponent doesn't really make a field whether from a phantom board or a more Vanguard focused deck. I always get frustrated cause I debate to just conserve cb to wait for the board or just go ham since they decided not to.

should I play super defensive, always call 2 neatness for extra draw first grade 3 turn and hold back to dropping 3 rocks on first g3 turn? I never have enough meteors for stanner to get his effect out

Eva is probably the best starter. Since it is xenophobic, so if you want to play Eva you have to use the Eva starter 1:24

I've tried it a few times, and I don't like it eats more soul so I can't use Barringer more than 1 time and deck out faster, when defense is one of gravidia strong points bobalmine also help vs prison

@@liyao8710 you can also conserve bobalmine as a booster or attacker if you don't need CC or soul. and orguel has to boost vanguard which is not what gravidia needs. try for yourself.but I didn't like it

hopefully you can bobalmine on g2 turn if u think u will maybe need cb tho. I just found bobal to be a bit more conservative and better at making columns most the time

@TOMu Nah it wasn't hate. It's definitely subjective on what the "Best" build would be for Gravidia but throughout the video the lack of confidence in choices makes it pretty apparent that the list would be unrefined. I get that it's just clickbait title but it'd still be better content if the deck builder was more confident in his choices.

@Solemn Vanguard Definitely no pro but, your lack of confidence in choices show how unrefined the decklist is. It's definitely incorrect to not be on 4 combine Rusher is mandatory the mirror match, and Eva are really hard on removal, even if Eva can hard remove them from the game, they still have to commit their order for turn to do so and as you stated front row attacks are very needed for the deck. Draws vs Fronts will always be a hard argument but I believe Draws are better for finding Gravidia(Higher average of JP and EN Tops with Draws). This is more preference though. Also based on JP and EN tops, Shergo is just better than Barringer. Even though Shergo decompresses your deck it can either set up your last Gravidia ride or prevent deck out. All while being a onpar beat stick.

- 4 combine rusher feels awful to me. This deck does not have the cb to be spamming more than the 1 copy, which you confirm in the ride deck. I would MUCH rather have the added shield from Stanner or the added draw from Barringer. (or again; the onhit) Building for just Eva is awful too because you’d be making your deck worse just to make a borderline auto-lose matchup … still borderline auto-lose. A hard rush and then solid sack is how Gravi beats Eva. - I’m still leaning towards fronts. - I hate shergo with a burning passion. I literally got 3rd place in BSF with Gravidia with Shergo in the deck and he was a vanilla throughout the whole day. His send-back effect is always late due to how he’s designed. Do not mistake me not being totally sold on a choice with me not being happy with my list. It generally takes hundreds of games for me to be actually sold on choices (because I’d have tons of tracked data to back it up), which is something you’ll only see in my topping profiles. This is not a standard you should expect from a regular deck profile and it’s not a standard you’re getting anywhere else anyway.
