I'm gonna be honest, it seems like you've selected boon combinations completely randomly, completed one run on each aspect, and called it a day. There was only one good synergy you mentioned, and it was breaching cross on aspect of Demeter. The comment about Poseidon sword and exit wounds was close, but triple cast damage is just wrong in all ways. However, if you throw darts on a dartboard blindfolded, you'll eventually get a bullseye.

Generic “boss guides” like this always don’t make much sense, you tell people how to beat the final boss with different aspects of the weapon but the reality is, people who have yet to beat the final boss will not have enough titan blood to to get those weapons, most people who has yet to finish the game would probably have only 6 titan blood from beating Meg with all the weapons, how would you expect them to have the maxed out tier 3 aspects weapons to deal with Hades? Build a guide and show how to use hammer and boons for the basic weapons to beat the final boss if you want to be useful instead.

if they're struggling with hades, i'd tell them to learn the shield, the bull rush can block the lazers in his second phase, try to get the extra dash from hermes, will make dodging his spin attacks a brease, the green urns count as traps, and if your tripping up on those Athena has a boon that'll soften up the blows from them, Devine dash from her is a noobs favorite dash. Aphrodies aid is pretty solid on bosses, but the best piece of advice i can give is read his moves, keep a good eye on him, video games have a nasty habbit of telegraphing attacks. and learn the timing to optimize hit and run tactics. THAT is the tip from the pros.

I do enjoy the "80% dodge chance" build with the twin fists. Just Not taking damage at all is pretty premium.

@@Berryturtle1 Aspect of Zagreus maxed out at 15% dodge chance, The Lambent Plume (at most it will probably net most players 25% dodge chance), the Hermes Boon that grants dodge chance at the highest rarity you can get it, and the Hermes Boon that grants dodge chance after using your Call. All together I can manage about 60% dodge chance and I can use my call to push that to about 80% if I use a call that cares about continued aggression. I'm certain some players could get it higher but it entirely relies on getting decent Hermes boons and rarity upgrades.

I managed to get the book where holding X with the bow shots continuous shot, with some attack and special dmg bonuses, and I made it to the 3rd boss, I'm only 10 hours in and I'm loving g this game

So a really good build for the garden gloves is Artemis' special, zeus' attack, and explosive upper, and everything else isn't specific. You can do about 2500 damage on a crit with the giga cutter(if I remember correctly)

The best sword is Nemesis. Using dash strikes (hit both the attack & dash at the same time) then weave in a special for both the crit activation & for a filler in between the dashes. Get Athena’s dash along with the sword’s best hammer “Double Edge”. I’d go with Aphrodite on the special & Artemis on the attack for Heartrend. That’s the best sword setup for high heat which means it’s just as powerful for beating Hades with no heat.

I had almost this exact setup on my last escape - aphrodite special and double edge hammer, but dionysus attack and artemis crit passive. It got really crazy with how all of the hangover damage had crit chance for each tick it seemed, and I breezed through in around 25 minutes. However this was only on heat 8, and I'm still pretty new and bad at the game

sea storm arthur does not work very well, boons that dont boost percentage and only give base damage effects (like dio, zeus and ares) are only really good on aspects that attack quickly, aspects that attack slowly but do a TON of base damage are great with artemis and aphrodite as aphrodite has the best percentage based boons (around 150% on epic) and artemis gives u 3x more damage on a crit.

I beat the game with the shield, in the lamest way. :’) I got the god gauge starting at 20 percent beginning of an encounter and the 1% per second increase. Plus the fog and Dionysus heartbreak. Great 40 minute ride.

Aegis' Aspect of Zeus is incredibly strong and VERY safe. You launch your shield and it kinda works like the Ares' version of your cast. It's a circling zone dealing constant damage. But you can still block with your shield, do basically, you have two shields. You can throw it in and really just flee from enemies and let the shield do the magic. It's VERY safe, and I think, the easiest aspect to play once you get the hang of how it works

I'm on my 62nd try and still haven't beat Hades. Truthfully the poison rats always ware me down to much before Hades, I thought I had him but......lol Edit. I can beat Hades now in under 24 minutes using Twin fist or the sword. I beat it 6 times and the story is still going! What a great game. I also started playing Curse of the Dead God's and it's way harder then Hades.

The Aegis shield isnt just a defensive weapon. You can kill basically anything pretty quickly with the right boons. If you have the Ricochet upgrade, Athena's Dash Deflection, Ares' Doom boons (specifically the Special version), Artemis' Dash-strike enhancement, you can slap through an entire encounter VERY quickly just spamming your attack buttons (I have them mapped to my triggers on my controller don't @ me). Aphrodite's Weak boons help against bosses as well.

@@hendrickyoung5359 Oh yeah, if you have Aspect of Zeus, you can just let a copy of the shield follow you and just dash attack across the room to keep it from reaching you, thereby doing more damage. I discovered that build after writing this particular comment.

However, idk why you are mentioning Chiron and Chaos when they are outclassed by Hera and Beowulf anyway, given that this is a guide for "OP builds" and not casual runs after all. The guide doesn't mention how you actually use Hera and Beowulf, but that's besides the point

Okay, if someone’s struggling to beat Hades then bringing frickin Guan Yu in, which permanently cripples your max health and trades that off by allowing you to heal with a slow move that leaves you vulnerable to attack is not gonna help make things easier! It can work great for some but is not an easy build. Plus a beginner probably wouldn’t have them unlocked

Guessing you have by this point, but here are a few tips: The trinkets you take are HUGE. Have an idea for what you want, we'll use a special focused Ares build with the shield. You just spam Y/triangle/x/top face button until you clear a room. Take a god-specific trinket on the first floor, persephone's trinket on all floors until the last, and the acorn on the final floor. If you don't have persephone's trinket yet, consider cthonic coin purse. If you're farming blood for a specific build & are having trouble with heat: take cthonic coin purse at the beginning & the mirror upgrade that gives you a % gold at the end of a level. Just don't use shops.

The best run I've gotten was using the gun and I just kept spamming q and doing 700 damage because I got hazard bomb and a boon that gave it 150% more damage and a chaos boon that gave it 40% more damage I would have won if I had extra lives to spare
