There's one brand of lightener that I believe you haven't tested yet. Duomo Pro, which is a sister company of Hanzo shears, has a 9 level lightener, and it works really well and very fast. A rep told me it was designed with dark hair in mind. As far as i know, it's only available online. But I personally love the viscosity and it's low dust and mild fragrance!
