+Michelle Smith I was in Istanbul, Turkey, where Bourdain visited a place that did these "wet burgers" (kinda like a Turkish sloppy joe). They still have the newspaper clipping of him visiting on the wall - his appearance there draws a lot of tourists. A Bourdain visit is better than a Zagat columm.

Hey Mike this is my favorite stalls in the mall. I always order the lamb noodle soup and it is my favorite. I always tell them no cilantro and they always mess it up. Well I don't like to but they screw it up all the time. Told them 3 times. Also the lamb rib is a rip off. They basically took off most of the meat for the lamb noodle soup. Basically u are eating very very little meat and paying $8 for bones. Basically the meat they they can't scrape off for the lamb noodle soup is to stew it and sell it to people for $8 and all u have a few little meat. I think because u are taping their food they gave u the ribs with the most meat.
@John77Doe8 жыл бұрын
Large quantities of meat is unhealthy. With meat, less is more.
@jasoninthehood97264 жыл бұрын
John Doe Large quantity of meat is perfectly fine, acceptable and enjoyable when you eat it in moderation to your usual food eating habits. Ask any dietician. Also, the commenter was expecting the standard American serving size relative to it’s price since this food stall is in America. Maybe you’re not a native English speaker but your statement is blatantly false.

you are so lucky to live in a place to have so much good authentic Chinese food, I live in an area where we have a ton of Chinese restaurants but they all make that crappy American style Chinese food and it is very hard to get the real deal if you don't speak Chinese
@cafelate95158 жыл бұрын
Mike I recommend spicy village at Chinatown. This is your style of food. It is a small place but u must go there and do a video. It is a tiny place. They serve those noodles you love. The flat pulled noodles and the spice is outrageous. You thank me later. The big tray chicken is the best better than the stall u recommend in Flushing. I must warn u that there is constantly long lines. It is best if u want to go way early before work people get off or late like after 9pm. It is about one or 2 hours long wait.

I bought from stall #28 before and I stopped by a second time just to try their cold skin noodles. Well, let me tell ya things have probably changed the last couple years as their cold skin noodles are nowhere as good as Xi'am's Famous Foods at Manhattan Chinatown. And speaking of noodles at Manhattan Chinatown, you should try the Beef belly noodle soup at Po Ky 80 Bayard Street. Their Seafood noodle soup is excellent also. Make sure to sprinkle on lots of white pepper.
