Awesome review Hegs, Thanks .... Getting back to the SGS and RGS..... The biggest difference that I think people will find, is at night..... The SGS with the Bat-wing fairing will have the headlight follow the track of the front wheel, But the Road Glide, with the fixed fairing will have a fixed headlight system so its like driving in a four wheeler..... The lights aren't going to follow the track of the front wheel.....that might be an issue for some riders. All that aside, The Heritage Classic would be my goto Harley for day and night time riding. Stay Safe, Ciao.

Well typically you’ll be leaning and counter steering so the headlights would probably be slightly better on the road glide since they won’t be pointing the opposite way while turning

Dude, been a sub watching you and your wife shoot for years. Subbed to this channel too. I have been ridding for over 35/40 years had a major stroke about 5 years ago. Thought my bike ridding days were behind me. I survived the stroke pretty well but my balance never came back 100%. Bought a Can Am Spyder F-3S last November and now I’m back in the wind!! Yea baby. This thing is awesome, never thought I’d have a trike but this thing is like ridding a formula 1 race car on the street. It has stability control, Tractioncontrol, cruse control, ABS breaks with Brembos at all three wheels! It will stop on a dime and give ya nine cents change every time! Pretty fast too! 115 Hp with 95 ft lbs. stock. I’m loving it, back in the wind baby!!! Had to sell my Valkyrie, miss that bike the wife and I could ride that baby all day long, it was beyond smooth. That flat horizontal apposed 6 was amazing.

I bought a 2014 trike new and I didn't expect it to be so hard to steer especially at slow speeds. I didn't ride the bike before I bought it because it would have been a lot of trouble to get it out of the showroom. My mistake. Oh well. I bought it because I have bad legs but can still ride. I'm 69 years old right now so the trike doesn't fall over and that's a good thing. I did have it up on two wheels going around a sharp bend though when I was drunk. Then last year I got busted for drunk driving but not on my bike. I won't be drinking and driving again, period. That little mirror buster and exchange of paint with no other damage cost me about $7K. I'm going to be in high risk category of insurance when my new insurance company finds out about the accident. I'm still on probation too. First time arrested in 68 years. so not too bad I guess. All I'm just saying I learned from my mistake. No more DUIs for me.

Great video. I agree with the Road Glide also for highway distance hands down. I've ridden most of them..but I put 25k on a road glide ultra in one year, and its like cheating in the big road. I was glad to hear the mention of the Heritage classic, as I'm older now and the lighter weight suits me great for all around riding. I notice I have highway pegs on mine and seldom feel I need them. It is a very comfortable bike. I an adding a fairing to make it feel like I have the best of all worlds in it.

Good comparison. I never knew where the Electra fit into the lineup until you covered it here. Laidlaw covered the ST in the lineup and made it make sense to me. The ST with the standard bags also has a taller suspension. The ST is supposed to be the "performance oriented" version with greater lean angle, more power, etc. From that perspective the Special seems to be the top of the line and the ST is the solo rider sports edition.

The ST has regular bags because it’s meant to be more performance oriented. And also bikes with a 2 into 1 with stretched bags look dumb. And ST buyers are the most likely to do a 2 into 1 out of all the touring bike buyers
@JK-vp1cy2 жыл бұрын
Probably gonna hurt some feelings but! The touring bikes are all from the same platform, comfort is different to each individual and as most people do, they buy and then they upgrade to achieve that comfort, there’s no possible way to test ride a bike and reach the miles needed before purchasing to know if it’s comfortable or not, and we are talking about the comfort kings of the Harley Davidson family right! So as an opinion it’s not about comfort at the time of purchase but more about colors, model, oh I need the big bore because it’s faster and so forth, comfort is the last thing that’s achieved proven by 90% of individuals within 60 days of purchasing there new bike and throwing parts at it to achieve that comfort!

When it comes to touring, the Tri Glide Ultra is the ultimate and kicks the two wheel ass. Just change the suspension, handle bars and get rid of the cat, you have the top of the line bar none. Seat is horrid as well as the "premium" suspension. wife couldnt be on the bike for more than 30 minutes without being in pain. after spending $30k on a bike I had to put $3k in suspension and seat to make it comfortable. The sound system is a joke. Haley wants $320 to be able to bluetooth your headset and be able to use apple car play. That doesn't include the $100 the dealer wants to turn it on. Top that off with if it's not an HD branded headset you only get mono sound lmao. The speakers? Sound like tin cans and Can't even hear them at highway speeds. Engine power? again for a $30k bike we're getting ripped off. Lowest power of the competition and many build issues.
