It is better to continue with original light, manufacturers provide such facility after due diligence. More light is risky for self and others, you will be tempted to drive faster & inviting more risk. It is good to drive safely in night with original light. It is merely psychological myth to have brighter light.

In manual I put the temp nozzle to middle to remove this error , on full cold or hot settings air comes out like u said even when the AC is off

It is a ghosting feature by vw/sk 😂 ! My slavia is also facing this same issue if we set the temperature to 17-18 it will blow cold air , and if we raise the temperature it will blow hot air , with ac being off already ! So you just have to close the vent to stop that airflow because they have no solution for it 🥲
