First portable DECT headphones in the market? I’ve been using engage 65 and 75, will definitely get a pair of 55s, thanks for the review!

EPOS SDW series also released their portable version Q4 last year.

Absolutely! For me I've always wanted to try out DECT headphones because I am having private business transaction conversations all the time so to have the ability to have a military grade secured conversation in public is AMAZING. I love my desk but can't stand being tied to my desk. Plus I'm on seller appointments a few times a week and may just need to stop somewhere to catch up or return a call depending on where I went. I love this headset!

Thanks for the really thorough review. I just got a question on the Sidetone setting. Can you still enable or turn this on without the Jabra Direct application? I don’t think my company will allow me to download other applications in my work laptop.

This is great! Reminds me when I first saw your video to talk about Logitech Zone Wired! Btw, zone wired still is one of my favorites 😊

Hi Adam, What alternate headset do you recommend that does not require a software installation on the computer? Most of the companies do not allow installing non approved company software on work computers
@drewmerritt54792 жыл бұрын
Hey Joe, most headsets don't require software for the headset to work. Software is only needed in certain cases like being able to update the headset, and can be done from a personal computer.

@@TechOutAdam But in lots of cases just plugging something into USB that's not on the allowed list triggers security audit s/w on the laptop. That's why I and others want 3.5mm wired format.

Does the Noice cancellation work with other software like Dialpad or Ring Central ??

Hello, great review. So this pair or Jabra Evolve 2 65 flex?
@TechOutAdam Жыл бұрын
So far I'd say the Jabra Evolve2 65 Flex. Way better ability for everyone who is not stuck to an office or desk at home. The Engage 55 is incredible with the noise cancelling mic but is limited in overall use compared to the 65 Flex.

@@TechOutAdam Thanks Adam. Been stuck with the descision making and almost pulled the trigger on Engage 55.

Nice, looks very light too Adam. Maybe the lightest among UC headsets. Im hoping you can have head to head comparison of engage 75 vs evolve2 75 or evolove2 65 regarding Mic quality.

It's so insanely light I barely notice it on my head compared to the Tilde or other Jabra headsets. It makes those seem SO bulky. The Jabra Evolve2 85 feels MASSIVE now lol!

Does this Headset require the Software installation in order to work? I'm asking this cause my Organization doesn't allow Software Installation from External Sources like USB or the Web.
