At 73 I'm doing shorter hikes and more vehicle based camps so weight and size are less of a consideration for me than it may be for others. I like to spend 3 - 4 days tucked away somewhere. Secured in its own container while charging makes this an interesting bit of kit. I developed the habit of removing the batteries of various lights I've owned over the years as some could be turned on and depleted, moving around when packed. Won't be for everyone but handy. Thanks Dave.

Thanks for this - love these kind of review videos and I like the look of this battery arrangement (and the multiple coloured lights). Gave you a shoutout of course in my latest video.

@@Fellmandave1 I hear that happens with all channels and it fluctuates. Well your core audience here is very happy, keep up the great videos.

The headtorch looks good, but the power case looks a bit too bulky for multi-day trips and the capacity of its battery is a little limited for all round use. For me I’d rather take a higher capacity power bank and usb cables.

Gives peace of mind though that it's there charging, all tucked away. Thanks for commenting!

LedLenser STILL using USB Micro??? Are you Fr* kidding me? I still would want a bigger lamp, as LED still doesn't spread as good as the old ones, it still feels like stray light with a laser in the middle. Why can't they make that.

Well, head torches are a bit like tents, different ones for different occasions. At least I think so. But yes, the micro USB is a bit meeesh.

Hmm..just carry cheap power bank to charge anything. Here is pro tip. Only buy headlamp with battery built in. Over the years of actual use, the wire will fray and break. And youre stuck with trying resolder wires. Battery built in and replaceable. Ive had 2 p5r and ive bought 2 proprietery replacement battery. My 2 cents
