I literally just got severely jumpscared so hard by a noise I replaced a cave sound with in minecraft like 10 minutes ago what the fuck is the timing of this upload lmfao. Had to take a breather cause I thought the pack wasn't going to work cause it said it was incompatible with 1.21.4, so the noise was one HELL of a shock (for anyone curious the noise is Mike Shinoda from Linkin Park yelling "YEAH" with a bit of reverb for cave vibes) (sampled it from Lost In The Echo)

If you want some Low-impact horror games, Pacific Drive and Voices of the Void are two fun entries. Pacific Drive has to maintaining your station wagon as you traverse through somewhat procedurally generated roadways. There are still obstacles on the road like you'd see in most driving games... but uh, they may not look like the normal T̶̠̍ͅo̷̳̫͒u̵͇͝r̵̹̭͐i̶̢̎̔ͅs̵̢̟͆ẗ̶̟̹́̈s̶̩̃̓ and b̵̦͊͌l̸̟͚͌̕o̵̗̙͋c̸̮̹̈k̵͙̉̕ǎ̷̝͇d̶̬̍ȇ̶͎̄s̴͕̽ that make things a little harder. Voices of the Void is a 'post dad'/'mundane job in a not mundane world' games. You're recording radio signals from space, repairing servers, and maintaining your little base. Being in an open valley with a dozen giant satellite dishes might get you more attention than you'd like... Both are very forgiving though, there's a lot of spooks, but not all those spooks are 'fail state' kinda spooks. I highly recommend it!

I never in a billion years would have thought of comparing Indika to TGYH, but that's jaw-on-the-floor *brilliant.* And the reason why I hated Indika (despite its absolutely gorgeous visuals, including the most correct-looking snow I've ever seen) and loved TGYH, is that, one was completely up its own ass and emotionally-manipulative in trying to insist on nihilism, while the other was just goofy fun. Both are worlds where everything's absurd and nothing matters, but only one tries to pressure the player into agreeing with the writer.
