Close the pools. That’s how they get out after sliding down a flume into it

I got sucked in a few years ago and was surprised at every turn by just how much multiplayer there is. Landing at the Anomoly now throws you into a multiversal hub world with other players and their ships running about loading up on quests, researching parts and upgrades, getting missions, planning multi-person expeditions, going through story, or just flying around a bit. It’s absolutely phenomenal and seamless. It’s a crime you didn’t explore that. Of course you can disable the multiplayer but why would you want to? And that’s just one part of the experience. The custom difficulty settings alone make it just as easy or difficult as you want it to be. You can have a nice time exploring and building, or you can have a crushingly brutal survival challenge where you dissolve if a gnat farts on you and lose that save file. You can also stumble across a town you can save and build up, Making decisions that affect the future of the townsfolk and whether your town lives or dies. You can experience sentinel raids where they attack your town in waves and you have to hold them off until they back down. Another thing you can do is find a sentinel hub and fight your way through the defences to temporarily disable sentinels planet wide. If you jump to space while being pursued, You’ll be engaged by the sentinel space corps fighting through various levels just like on the ground ranging up to a full size sentinel CARRIER. Oh yeah, They added CARRIERS you can use as a mobile base you can build up and customise to your hearts content, They can even harvest resources and launch expeditions while you run around doing your thing. If you set up a base with a teleporter, You can return to that base even if you reach the end and respawn in another galaxy. And there’s a teleporter on every space station so you can also use them to quickly move between systems and galaxies you already visited. There’s a LOT that’s changed for the better

While Dan's playing space games again, I would /love/ to see a new video on Rodina. Don't know if Dan's seen the handful of updates that have come out since the last stream -- which as far as I know, was as long ago as 2017

There is one point in the game wich you may reach after 50 or 500 hours where everything starts to feel the same. The only difference is wether the planet has a red, blue or green color. As soon as you land the same procedure begins.

The Expeditions allow you to get base items, staff multitools ect + the rewards carry across save files + you can now do an expedition on your main save vs having to make a save specifically for that Expedition.

11:20 (for being stuck) - you have infinite jetpack fuel when pressing against a wall. this is literally called 'climbing' in the games files. the game also tells you to do this at some point.
