Hey Morph! Dame Ayelin, her feeling of sadness was her losing her Paladin oath. If you play a Paladin and break your oath, you get a similar dialogue about feeling a loss and sadness, then you become an Oathbreaker Paladin. I’m not sure why killing the wizard broke her oath, but that’s the ongoing theory about that.

Is it because Paladins should not kill? Is it their Oath, to not kill living creatures?

With my paladin character if I initiate an attack on someone who didn't start a fight my oath is broken. I think the same happens with her. ​@@Beading_Kate

Ah. I had a feeling Aylin killing Lorroakan out of revenge or anger rather than honor broke her oath. I don't think they made it clear in any of the other playthroughs I've watched, but it makes sense.

only recently started watching this series and now caught up. good job. There's a couple of things I'm curious about though. One is, since you stress this playthrough is so focussed on companions, how come the companions have dialogue that you arent ever picking?

I do love watching your playthrough, except sometimes I wanted to yell through the phone for you to use your ckerics and other spells' utilities much more. I hope you've learned a lot on how to make strong characters, parties and how to get the most out of your spells and weapons. If you play the game this way it is even more fun. It I'd painful to wat h you fail so many rolls and die so many times! Cheers 🎉
