I love crit builds in this game, made a healing crit Stygian that can heal more than his max hp and a kinship crit astalos, they work amazingly

This Build: *exists* Me with my Mizu: "How cute, lets destroy it". My Mizu has all Three Attack Types covered(Power, Speed and Technical). The Elemental Damage out put by it is fairly insane for an mid Tier Monstie(which will change with Soulseer). Having given it Dancer XL(max) and Evasion Instinct XL(max). With an editional Bubble Dance to guaranteed evade the next Attack for an fairly low cost through the Kinship Cost reducing Gene.

I just used the blast fire build from his brachydios but swapped flame burst for hell blade gene, and salt in the wound for crit XL.

In base MHStories, my monsties always had Power, Speed, and Tech moves. Always trips others up in PvP. Especially if the monsties does passive status damage...

Immortal monstie would be amazing. I think I found an immortal hunter build to go with it: Bkoodbath Armor with a Divine Blessing XL/ Revival XL talisman gives evasion, tenacity, damage reduction, and regen. It loses out on soul kinship sadly which is amazing.

I made a set where I put blastblight on the foe with a hellblade sns and then hellblade uses ignition breath for a technical attack with the blast dmg boosted by hb armor I have not tested it yet.

would love builds for monsties considered low tier. everyone knows teostra, hellblade, and bracydios are really good and everyone is going to just use a meta build on them but no one is going to expect a bulldrome that shoot fireballs and thunderbolts.

bazel is just teostra but not as good. This is because bazel is fire/speed and all the blast genes are fire/power. a 150% power/fire Teostra is super easy but bazel can't get more than 120% fire/speed bingo. it was 110% but hellblades new skill means thier are 4 fire/speed genes meaning you can stick a rainbow gene in the middle and the 4 speed/fire genes on the sides to get up to 120% speed/fire.

I use this on my Velcidrome dodge crit heal build. Combined with Dancer and Evasion up, unless it's head to head, she rarely gets hit. When she does, she nearly instantly recovers her health back.

I would Replace sharpen blades with Green narga's sneak for the extra evasion on top of the Crit boost tbh.

For the difficult final monster maybe it's ruiner Because it seems that a bunch of fan favorites are getting their variance deviance and or subspecies And Capcom does have a habit of making ruiner or just normal nergi just kind of surprise you

I'm using Crit Up XL, Dancer XL, and Slugger XL to hopefully hit incredibly hard and stun them with no chance to respond. Would Inflict Rate Up help with the stun? Can't find an answer anywhere =/

I have an important question about these new updates and quests. Are these quests doable solo? Specifically the fire eggs quest and the Kulve Taroth one? I want to get this game and farm for cool monsties but if the content is locked behind an online subscription with no reliable way to do it solo, I can’t play it.

You can do it all solo. The game gives you a NPC to help in co op. Kulve needs some strategy to beat but can be done.

Could this also work with regular Glavenus? Obviously his stats are lesser but I think the coloring on regular Glavenus is cooler. Would the 7/10 vs 9/10 crit difference be super noticeable?

As good as hellblade is in MHS2, I was kinda disappointed when i discovered that they didn't give him any attacks that inflict blastblight, so i gave mine the tail spin bomb skill from an uragaan. I am delighted to say that it works wonders.

I´m 68 across the board. Hopefully with my 3 SR expedition tickets I can dig up a rainbow hellblade. If this hellblade can do about 12k non-crit, I am in awe what mine will do when it reaches my level. I shudder to think a level 99 max nutriment hellblade with this build

Ok as cool as this is it's a bit... odd that you don't have one tech, power and speed type attack. I'd swap out that non elemental buff gene for Quaropeco's Firecracker to fill the missing attack type. Valiant Flare is more than enough of a buff as is for PvP and PvE. Also you do not want to try to get two self buffs going in PvP since most good PvPers will take advantage of that and KO your monstie before you can utilize both buffs.

The actual gene to use on Glavenus? It can't crit and Glavenus has somewhat lower fire damage than Teostra, so critwise nope. But hey why not make a super nova Glavenus huh? It'd still be fun and very much viable as an AoE for Glavenus.

@@flatulent_d9374 The strongest water monstie right now is Mizutsune, a monster you meet halfway through the story. At least dragon has Deviljho and Stygian Zinogre. Hopefully Soulseer will give us a good water option.

I don't think there's a way to tell, if she's similar to regular gammoth chances are she won't have good stats unless they give her a really good amount of attack power, But you can always build for whoever you want!

I'm just gonna say this, your format for showing the build is annoying, at some point in the video it would be better to have the list of genes shown in the manage screen so if people want to tweak/copy the build they have a spot to stop at to write everything down. Only showing one gene at a time the whole video, even if you are explaining all of it can be a pain. Especially if you watched the video already and just want the genes list. Sorry for sounding like a dick.
